As IT Support Specialist, you will help ensure efficient operations for the company and its employees by being the primary contact for IT-related concerns and problem resolution. Your duties include working with employees to diagnose and resolve problems with hardware, software, and servers in a timely and professional manner.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Respond and resolve IT tickets in a timely manner
- Communicate and escalate issues if needed
- Perform root-cause analysis on issues, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention
- Proactively manage and maintain server, network, and firewall systems
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance if needed
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
- Coordinate the purchase, installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and equipment.
- Mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies
- Support and enforce information technology (IT) policies
- Set up and configure new systems, new applications, and upgrades
- Manage user account information, permissions, and rights
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be proactive, outcome focused and self-managing.
- With strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working in an end-user IT support role
- Proficient in troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Proficient in supporting and understanding Windows 10, 11, and MacOS
- Must have basic networking fundamentals
- Can work both remotely and onsite
