The Support Analyst provides end-user support in creating documentation for recurring tasks as well as assisting the team in setting up user accounts. This person diagnoses, troubleshoots and resolves basic and moderate technical problems. This person operates under defined processes and procedures and makes decisions regarding short-term priorities and work activities requiring interpretation of guidelines, policies and procedures. The Support Analyst will work closely with our Helpdesk, Desktop Technology, and ATS teams in supporting users in general IT problems.  This is a Night Shift role.

• Performing day-to-day support work for the company’s end users.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:   This position provides technical support and troubleshooting for desktop/laptop systems, software, and hardware with a focus on monitoring the helpdesk queue, email, chats and phones, providing end-users help remotely and on-site. Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications and operating systems. Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions. Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolution to technical issues. The candidate should be self-directed and require minimal supervision. Good communication skills and the ability to write clear documentation are a must. Should be able to work in a team to define application support standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience supporting users remotely, over the phone, email, chat and in person.
• Enter and manage all incidents in the incident management system and act as a liaison between customers and technical escalation teams.
• Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
• Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Assisting with complex troubleshooting and repair activities
• Active Directory administration
• Participating in and prioritizing activities to minimize impact on business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or any related field
• Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and OneDrive.
• Active Directory experience (new user creations, password reset, general troubleshooting)
• Endpoint Protection
• Hardware knowledge down to the component level, including installation of new hardware.
• Printer repair/connectivity experience
• Basic networking configuration and troubleshooting knowledge (TCP/IP, NetBeui, DHCP, switches, and cabling).
• 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop and server.
• 2+ years of recent experience working in a technical support department providing Desktop Support or Systems Administration to end users.
• Must be able to be both a team player and be able to provide exemplary results while working on projects independently.
• Comp TIA  A+ Computer Specialist Certification (Preferred not required)

Salary: P50,000 to P65,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST)

• Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support within Managed Service environment.
• Experience in supporting Microsoft Products such as Office 365 and Azure.
• Knowledge with various systems such as Autotask, IT Glue, Datto RMM, PRTG, DATTO Back-up, and Skykick Back-up
• Patch Management
• Server and PC health checks

Nice to Have:

• Experience in supporting Cisco products
• Experience in Ubiquity
• Proven NOC experience

• Analyse and investigate technical issues reported by customers, utilizing problem-solving skills to identify root causes and provide effective resolutions Job Responsibility
• Assess customer support tickets and prioritize based on urgency and impact. Escalate critical issues to higher-level technical support teams as needed
• Effectively resolve basic issues across IT related technologies, systems, and applications such as Hardware, Office 365, Business Application Software, and Network
• Use all available tools, resources, and knowledge base to diagnose the issue and assist with the request
• Take ownership of daily backups, overnight PRTG alerts and check for any issues and escalate or triage as required
• Complete the onboarding and offboarding of clients’ staff as required
• Provide exceptional customer service while employing a logical approach to troubleshooting
• Ensure that the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality are always maintained, and practices are in line with relevant legislation
• Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures including SLA time frames
