Role Overview and Objectives

The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for ensuring all Incidents or Request are updated in a timely manner

The core objectives and responsibilities of the Service Desk Analyst include:

1. Ensure the best service for every request

2. Adhere to the prescribed process and procedures

3. Manage self-performance and support the team

Responsibility

The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for:

· Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions, including escalations

· Address every request with an appropriate response (resolve or re-assign)

· To manage customer-related incidents ensuring a speedy resolution within the SLAs

· To assist the Field Technicians and NT Engineers in troubleshooting and resolution of problems

· To Assist in the Administration of Network Infrastructure

· Follow guidelines/script and ensure every customer interaction is quality compliant

· Log all requests and update the database as per the guidelines

· Maintain security of the network

· Keep manager updated on potential risks and performance deficiencies proactively

· Regularly updates product knowledge and technical skills using available resources

· Incorporate Datacom values into team interactions

Requirements

• Knowledge of Network Hardware including Routers, Hubs, and Switches
• Able to recreate and administer network infrastructure

• Achieve the assigned sales budget or monthly quota. With or without experience.

• Analyze and summarize competitor information & trends, identifying sales opportunities, develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, building rapport providing technical information & explanation.

• Monitor and ensure provision of consumable and repair requests of the assigned customers with Ubix committed timeline.

• Keep customers informed about new technological products.

Work is onsite. 8 AM to 6 PM.

• Bachelor's degree in business or IT related course;

• Adept with IT trends/Technology & experience in market research, trends and data mining

What are we looking for?

Skills Required

• With 1.5+ years of experience in a service desk environment
• Knowledge of supporting Microsoft technologies, including MS Office suite, Exchange Office 365, and Windows 10
• Ability to support networking issues including cabling and wireless, remote access connectivity (VPN), IP telephony and mobile devices
• Exposure to Ticketing Tools and Active Directory
• Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Servicenow, Salesforce, Share Point and Point of Sales (POS)
• Familiarity with ITIL Foundation
• Knowledge of the Retail Industry

 What will you do?

• Delivering first level support in a Service Desk environment. Handle calls professionally, courteously, and effectively, adhering to standard procedures. Address intermediate technical issues based on experience and expertise
• Manage application deployment using approved software tools.  Ensure strict compliance with licensing and maintain accurate inventory records
• Own incidents and requests until resolution, keeping customers informed and collaborating with relevant teams for solutions
• Handle intermediate-level administration for all systems, including VPN support and phone/voicemail management. Address information security threats and guide junior staff in security administration across various platforms
• Recommend and schedule hardware and peripheral improvements, upgrades, and repairs
• Ensure hygiene of incidents and requests in the CWR’s incident management system, adhering to all quality and regulatory standards
• Ensure all relevant processes within the responsibility area are well-documented and current
