Position Overview: As a Civil Engineer specializing in site development, you will play a pivotal role in transforming existing conditions into well-designed and functional site plans. Utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD and drainage calculations, you will assist in the design and development of drainage plans, site layouts, storm drainage systems, and utilities integration. You will collaborate with project teams remotely to ensure that site plans meet regulatory requirements and client objectives across various market sectors. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Utilize scan-to-plan processes to assess existing site conditions and assist in the development of design concepts remotely. 

• Develop site plans with drainage calculations, incorporating stormwater management strategies and utilities integration. 

• Prepare drainage plans, site layouts, and storm drainage systems remotely to support land development projects. 

• Collaborate with project teams remotely to integrate stormwater calculations, grading, and utilities into comprehensive site plans. 

• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders remotely to obtain approvals and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. 

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. 

• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in civil engineering practice. 

• Advanced to expert proficiency in Civil 3D usage.  

• Preferably with hydrology and hydraulics software for modeling stormwater runoff and designing stormwater management systems such as HydroCAD. 

• Experience in Stormwater & Sewer Analysis (SSA) and Flood Analysis (FA) in Civil 3D is preferred but not a mandatory requirement. 

• Strong understanding of drainage calculations, stormwater management, and utilities integration. 

• Experience working on civil, land development, residential, commercial, and public/community institution projects. 

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. 

• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with remote teams during US business hours.

Role #1: STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

• Licensed Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• A US or Canada Structural Engineering work experience is a PLUS
• Familiarity with Revit Structures on top of AutoCAD expertise would be a PLUS

Role #2: PLUMBING ENGINEER/DESIGNER with HVAC experience

• Licensed Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with HVAC design would be a PLUS
• Experience with both Revit and AutoCAD
• Ideally with great tenure from past employment

Equipment:

• i5 or higher with at least 8 GB DDR4 RAM (better if i7 latest generation/version)
• Hard Drive: 512 SSD (better if 1TB) with at least 250 GB free up space
• Video Card: GTX/RTX 4GB 3050Ti (better if 6GB 3060)
• OS: Windows 10 and up

Internet Connection:

• At least 25MBPS Download and 10MBPS Upload

Preferably familiar in using engineering / architectural design software/s such as:

• AutoCAD Civil3D
• REVIT 2016 or newer
