1. Leads the operational change requirement and management in the feed manufacturing process.

2. Designs and develops digital programs and initiatives that drive productivity and cost savings.

3. Takes the lead in the implementation of process improvements involving ERP-SAP, Data Analytics & Report Systems, Data Management, Digital Inventory Management, Project Management and other emerging technologies that gears towards Industry 4.0.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

SAP - ERP

• Acts as the lead person in the implementation of SAP related system improvements in the production department

• Trains production personnel in the operation and realization of SAP system revision and enhancement.

• Provides assistance in any SAP related concerns in the production department.

• Works with other department’s SMEs for any SAP related concerns.

Process Improvements

• Coordinates with relevant stakeholders in the implementation of the digital process improvement projects in the production department.

• Responsible for ensuring that all automation projects are well documented and undergo Risk Mitigation analysis.

• Works closely with the PMO incharge.

• Conducts training and / or  info drive to all production personnel and other stakeholders to improve awareness in relation to digital improvement projects.

• Keeps track the cost benefits of the implemented improvement projects in the production department.

Project Management

• Ensure that all projects are planned, executed and closed out in accordance with the PILMICO Project Management Office (PPMO) guidelines and processes.

• Collaborate with process owners to establish project objectives, scope, schedule, and budget.

• Present to management and ensure that goals, timelines, resources, and other information are well relayed and communicated.

• Ensure that project objectives, scope, timeline, and budget are attained.

• Timely updates to stakeholders for project status reports; completion of tasks, assessed risk, encountered issues and proposed workarounds.

Innovation

• Drive innovation engagement in the plants/facilities along with the relevant team members.

• Generate and analyze innovation performance.

• Recommend actions for improvement as necessary.

Other Tasks:

1. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility,  risk management, etc. 

2. Acts as backup shift production supervisor if needed.

3. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

• Learns and understands flour milling processes and develop the skills of (1) Asst. Mill Operator, (2) Screen Room Operator, and (3)Mill Operator

• Monitors operational performance efficiencies of flour milling machines and equipment. Performs analysis of problems encountered. Investigates root cause/s, implements and/or recommends cost-effective corrective action plans to ensure reliability and availability.

• Identifies critical spare parts required and monitors inventory. Recommends action plans to Production Supervisor and/or Flour Mill Manager for the procurement.

• Learns and understands sifter flow sheets. Develop the skills required on how to fix broken sifter sieve cloth.

• Acts as Reliever to Production Associate when the incumbent is on vacation/sick leave or on Official Business or attending company-related activities.

General Tasks

• Establishes, maintains, recommends and implements a good housekeeping program for all areas of responsibility to ensure compliance to food safety standards set by FSSC, 5S, GMP, ISO, HACCP, ERM & Halal.

• Actively participates in company programs and provides support at all times.

• Performs other related works as may be assigned by the Department Head and/or immediate superior.

The FM Engineer II - Project Automation is responsible for developing automation solutions that facilitate the achievement of business targets for projects and initiatives under the Feeds Division. The Automation and Process Control Project Engineer also supports greenfield and brownfield projects of the Feeds Division along with supporting the regulatory compliance associated with such projects.

Hiring in Tarlac (Feeds):

• Production Asssociate: Responsible for ensuring that all Raw Material usages, Finished good and Raw material recovery reports under Production are all documented and accounted per designated Run ticket. Also responsible in daily posting all Finished Good recoveries in SAP system and submits all completed Run ticket documents to Warehouse
• Feedmill Engineer: Provides assistance to Feedmill Engineer 2, Feedmill Engineer 4 and Material planner. Ensures micro hand adds readiness and accuracy, and monitors micro ingredients and packaging materials availability in the process area. The position is also responsible for contributing to the achievement of the quality objectives of the plant by performing the functions of key positions in the plant .

Hiring in Tarlac (Farms - Stay-in):

• Electrical Technician: Responsible for maintaining the farm's electrical system and its auxiliaries to its Optimum Operating Capacity by performing Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities and other programs as part of the quality management system to ensure reliable, maximum efficiency and safe operation.

Maintenance and Calibration

1. Performs troubleshooting and implements corrective action to immediately address emergency downtime, production delays and/or quality issues during the shift.
2. Implements maintenance works ensuring that the methods and materials applied are in accordance with the sound engineering and applicable standards.
3. Provides inputs and recommends action plans for the repairs and maintenance works.
4. Investigates root cause/s, implements and/or recommends cost-effective corrective action plans.
5. Performs calibration of all plant control and measuring equipment as maybe required ensuring that devices remain reliable and that these conform to applicable standards.

Condition-based Monitoring

1. Monitors operational performance efficiencies and performs analysis of problems encountered.
2. Performs vibration monitoring and/or thermal imaging as provided for in the preventive maintenance program.
3. Analyzes results, implements and/or recommends corrective/preventive action plan on the abnormalities and potential problems identified and communicates Supervisors and/or Manager for evaluation and approval of implementation.

Spare Parts Monitoring

1. Identifies and recommends action plans for the procurement of materials needed for the effective and on-time implementation of maintenance work.
2. Coordinates with the Maintenance Planners, Supervisors and Manager to ensure availability of materials.

Improvement Projects

1. Designs and performs cost estimates of improvement projects and submits to Supervisors and/or Manager for evaluation.
2. Implements improvement projects ensuring that these are in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards
3. Performs electrical/instrumentation installations ensuring safety and efficiency and that specifications are met.

Power System and Energy Management

1. Operates and tends the power generators as may be required during scheduled and unscheduled power interruptions.
2. Ensures that power is appropriately provided to critical processes and/or departments.
3. Monitors critical power system parameters, power factor, demand and energy of all critical process areas in the plant.

Other Tasks

1. Assures the accuracy and completeness of all drawings, files, engineering records, reports, prints, and tasks of assigned projects.
2. Learns and understands other processes through immersion and development training in other departments.
3. Actively participates in company programs and provides support at all times.
