Job Description

In this Communications Manager role, your responsibilities would be focused on internal communications for the Legal Compliance Risk and Assurance area (LCRA) as well as administrative support tasks for the General Counsel. You will be working closely with the Head of Internal Communications and supporting with internal communications matters for the LCRA business area – such as town halls, newsletters, blogs - with the aim to translate LCRA updates into engaging messages for our global colleague audience and cascading company-wide messages for LCRA colleagues. The role also supports the General Counsel with the preparation of messaging and content for key meetings, in addition to the logistics and tracking of actions. As part of your work, you will also accompany internal projects of the LCRA team, perform administrative project activities and prepare the presentation of project results.

You would be part of the LCRA team based in Manila and aligned with the Internal Communications team led from Zurich.

Your key tasks 

• Support the General Counsel with regular communications within his business area
• Draft, review and edit communications in line with our style guide
• Ensure content is aligned with overarching business objectives
• Become a trusted advisor to the General Counsel on communication topics
• Create newsletter and email templates according to our brand guidelines
• Organize meetings and support with agenda creation, minute taking and action tracking
• Perform administrative project activities and prepare the presentation of project results
• Coordinate ongoing maintenance of the LCRA SharePoint site
• Provide guidance and support to the General Counsel to ensure company-wide change and engagement initiatives are landed successfully with LCRA colleagues

Your key tasks

• Assess and categorize incidents based on their impact, urgency, and priority, in alignment with predefined incident management guidelines
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including support teams and subject matter experts, to gather necessary information for incident severity assessment
• Provide clear and concise communication to stakeholders, including senior management, regarding incident status, impact, and resolution plans in timely and accurate manner
• Ability to communicate well and manage highly stressful situations over the phone. Demonstrate proven leadership qualities removing any ambiguity as to who is coordinating the incident resolution
• Ability to coordinate and drive technical bridges during a major event, asking the right questions, and steering the support teams towards quick mitigation, work-around or resolution to limit the financial and reputational exposure
• Continuously evaluate and refine the incident severity assessment process to improve its accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor and report on the performance of the incident severity assessment process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed
• Conduct thorough incident post-mortems to analyse root causes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
• Foster collaboration across platforms and SMEs from other lines of business to align IT strategy with the bank's business needs and objectives
• Lead in major incident management by leading the command and control and oversight all key recovery activities and escalation upwards

• Providing management support in ensuring highest levels of service quality and improving service levels through identification of problem trends and causes which impact the delivery of production services
• Conduct monthly service review meeting to review major incident and ensure agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) are met with various business stakeholder
• Problem Management: Experience in various problem-solving methods like five whys, Fish bone etc. End to end ownership to initiate, track and the closure of problem tickets and the preventive actions.
• Participate in the standard Post-mortem (Root cause analysis) process to ensure no repeat of any technology incidents with known root cause.
• Post Incident activity to ensure highest levels of service quality and improving service levels through identification of problem trends and causes which impact the delivery of production services.
• KPI Metrics and Reporting: Capture Incident timelines in ticketing tools, Incident Impact and Resolution Duration and the associated KPIs.
• Standby support after business hour on rotation basis.

Your team

The Release & Configuration Manager will be working in the regional Release and Test Management team taking care of software releases for all Avaloq products supported by the regional business entity. You will be responsible for defined set of customers and support them during various SDLC phases and go live.

Your mission

• You will be involved in planning and rollout of various Avaloq products in the controlled environments.
• You will have end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of releases into the Live environments.
• Create and manage implementation plan, release meetings and production cutover.
• Accountable for release scope validation with project managers and delivery managers.
• Ensures technical validation of all releases are completed and reported for the Go Live.
• Responsible for software packaging, deployment and log analysis of Avaloq products.
• Document and educate the users on release, configuration, devops and deployment management best practices.
