Primary Responsibilities

• Coaches lab analysts I, lab technicians, lab aides and OJTs on the performance of test, analyses, and sample preparation. 

• Maintains workplace in a safe and orderly condition. 

• Prepares purchase request for laboratory supplies

Skills Required:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The R2R Specialist is responsible for providing business unit general accounting and internal control support in line with IFRS, including preparation and posting of journal entries, maintenance of balance sheet accounts, completion of the month end closing transactions/procedures and ensuring that the general ledger account balances and trial balances are appropriately reconciled.

- Responsibility for preparation and posting of journal entries for the designated SGS Affiliates.

- Creation, distribution and maintenance of standard GL, FA, INV, Intercompany Transaction reports to corporate and business units.

- Ensuring data integrity and preparing financial information as required, in accordance with expected accuracy, timeliness and accessibility.

- Performing the periodic close of general ledger which includes maintaining the close schedule, scheduling of subsystem feeds, making materiality decisions on closing entries and communicating to customers when the monthly trial balance is finalized.

- Maintaining accountability for the standard chart of accounts and for the preparation of account analysis/reconciliations on a timely basis.

VC firm and software consulting. Looking for a virtual assistant who can be trustworthy and discreet. The client handles lots of deals and doesn’t want any information being leaked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring email and creating a file structure for important/urgent items like tax, legal documents, etc.
• Filing emails for my attention and creating a task system to enable the urgent and/or important to be highlighted to me for action
• Managing the client’s calendar for possible overlaps or inconsistencies and coordinating reschedules (calendar management)
• Creating documents, proposals, and presentations off of verbal notes for review and approval
• Pulling data on personal budget to ensure accuracy on past spending

• Must be discrete, can keep and honor data confidentiality
• Detailed-oriented
• Design capabilities (a plus)
• Letters of recommendation and referrals (trust and loyalty is very important to the client)
• Proficient in English (writing/reading)
• MS Suite of applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Reviewing emails and detecting priority levels based on a rubric and logic
• Proficient in financial and data analysis
