About the Role
Responsible for delivering timely, relevant, quality financial reports for BPI AIA under statutory and regulatory basis with great accuracy to various stakeholders
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of required financial reports under statutory/ regulatory reporting basis and calculation of other local reporting KPIs
- Support the monthly and quarterly financial close activities and prepare required financial reports/ disclosure notes/ reporting templates
- Handle booking of required adjustments, if any, under statutory/ regulatory reporting basis
- Support the external audit process and audit conducted by Insurance Commission and timely resolve issues raised by auditors
- Monitor financial performance and perform analysis of net profits and other local reporting KPIs in comparison to plan, latest forecast, and prior period
- Handle reporting to management of the financial health and provide insights to improve performance and identify trends and potential problems that may affect the company’s financial health
- Ensure appropriate internal controls over financial reporting processes under statutory/ regulatory reporting basis and other related processes
- Continually assess the local financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk, as well as lead/ support the team in implementing the approved enhancements of processes and controls.
- Support automation initiatives for local financial reporting related processes
- Communicate professionally and effectively with other teams to ensure that financial reports and analysis are accurate, and any issues are resolved on a timely manner
- Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/ or other requirements
