Hiring for ST Telemedia Global Data Centre Philippines
STT GDC Philippines is a joint venture between Globe, Ayala and ST Telemedia Global Data Centre (STT GDC).

Job Description
Utility System Management:
Oversee and maintain all utility systems, including power distribution (UPS, generators), cooling infrastructure (chillers, HVAC), water supply, and security systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to schedule and execute maintenance and repairs.
Respond promptly to utility system failures and emergencies to minimize downtime.
Utilities Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitor and analyze the consumption of electricity and water in data center facilities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive data tracking systems for utility usage.
Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in utility consumption.
Efficiency Enhancement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement energy-efficient technologies and practices.
Identify opportunities for reducing utility consumption while maintaining high operational standards.
Evaluate the performance of utility service providers and make recommendations for improvements.
Cost Management:
Work on budget planning and cost forecasting related to utilities expenses.
Seek opportunities for cost reduction and cost-effective procurement strategies.
Ensure accurate utility billing and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance and Sustainability:
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
Develop and implement sustainability initiatives related to utility usage.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sustainable utility management.
Data Reporting and Documentation:
Generate regular reports on utility consumption, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
Maintain accurate documentation of utility-related processes and initiatives.
Prepare presentations for management and stakeholders.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
Manage relationships with utility service providers and contractors.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements to optimize service quality and costs.
Oversee service level agreements (SLAs) and performance evaluations.
Emergency Response and Contingency Planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g.,Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Facilities Management) is preferred.
Proven experience in utility management, particularly within data center or critical infrastructure environments.
Strong knowledge of energy-efficient technologies and sustainable utility practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis and utility monitoring tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Project management experience a plus
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to utility management.
