The Junior Technical Support Analyst is the first contact point for our customers, and plays a vital role ensuring requests are handled efficiently, and escalated to the correct team for further analysis. As you progress in the role your responsibilities will expand to include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities.

You will start in Level 1 support where you will learn on the job about our systems and our processes. After 6-9 months you will then move into Level 2 support, where you will begin to specialise in specific parts of the system, and continue to provide the best possible support to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Review, triage and respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via the help desk tool or by email
• Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
• Assist Level 2 support on periodic status calls with our customers

• Provide and oversee technical analysis support to the Global Risk organization to protect the payment ecosystem.

• Support Payment Fraud Disruption and Risk in its strategic goals of identifying, analyzing, and disrupting cybercrime and fraud threats to the global payment’s ecosystem.

• Identify and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and procedural changes to increase operational efficiencies and data quality.

• Assist with various other cross-functional projects undertaken to improve Visa’s fraud prevention for its clients.

We are looking to hire a Business Analyst who has both business acumen and technical experience, to work on Banking implementation projects as well as on client support issues. You will be joining our Product & Technology team in Avaloq APAC & MEA organization. The whole group is responsible for developing and maintaining our Avaloq solutions for our clients in APAC & MEA. Your team consists of highly skilled Software Engineers and Consultants, helping our customers to implement and enhance Avaloq core, digital and surrounding ecosystems. We follow an agile process, working closely within the team but also with other related teams and clients to implement and enhance Avaloq core and maintain existing ones in live use.

Your role is customer and product focused. In collaboration with our clients, you will analyze and apply the extension of our standard products according to customers' needs.

The team works with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet market demands and help shape the solutions for our clients. 

Your key tasks 

• Lead and drive solution validation or analysis & design workshops across different streams to ensure consistent and complete requirement & solution coverage. 
• Specifying new functionality in collaboration with Software Developers, Partners and Clients
• Act as subject matter expert at specific areas and able to go deep into requirement / solution gaps with support from product architects.
• Supporting developers during implementation, including testing
• Lead and drive implementation project at Build / Test / Go-Live stages, able to organize project streams to deliver the end-to-end project as required.
• Acting as the contact person concerning functional questions as well as supporting consulting projects and workshops with customers and partners
