The Technical Account Manager I (TAM-I) is an integral part of the Registry Customer Support Team. This position takes ownership and works alongside the technical and operational organizations to optimize Customer Experience, System Quality, and Operational Efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling all support cases and inquiries, including supporting customers who use Registry products and tools along with monitoring and troubleshooting the Registry platform, product set, and customer integrations to the product suite.

The expectation for this position is to be able to solve a high percentage of customer inquiries via Web, Email, and Phone connected to a Support Ticketing System, and work directly with the external Customers and internal Team Members to identify and resolve customer issues.

The Customer Support team works on a 365x24x7 roster. This position may be required to work weekends and evenings.

• Fields help desk calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding Registry systems, products, policy compliance, and similar concerns.
• Maintain customer tickets with current information and provide draft updates for support documentation if requested.
• Assist customers with the use of the Registry product suite. Collect, analyze, investigate, and resolve customer-facing issues based on the facts presented by the customer and knowledge of the product line. Applies knowledge of Registry systems and products to solve problems.
• Consult with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
• Be an integral part of a team environment and act as a central subject matter expert for appointed issues and customer inquiries.

• Solid experience in manual testing
• Familiarity with backend, System Testing, Migration, Database upgrades, API Testing etc.
• Experience with test case management tool like Testrail
• Familiarity with defect tracking systems such as JIRA and Confluence
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of cloud-based applications such as Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs and MS Office applications 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and create test cases from specifications and requirements defined by Product Managers
• Experience in automation and any programming language is a plus!
• Ability to write and understand SQL queries is a plus!

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

As a QA Analyst, you will closely work with Client’s IT support technicians and system security analysts to catch any major problems that reduce the quality of Client’s products before the launch.  You will be responsible for testing software programs, and replicating and reporting bugs so that developers can implement a fix for them.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Ensure high-quality software is delivered in each release
• Develop new and update existing test cases 
• Peer review of test cases, provide feedback and updates as needed
• Document test findings (bugs, change requests, etc.) (requires detailed orientation)
• Update test results in a test tracking tool(s)
• Provide functional, accessibility, regression, API and other testing types as needed
• Report, track, and manage any discovered defects to resolution
• Detect defects as early in the life cycle as possible
• Support other areas of the project including training and analysis of testing tools and processes
• Understand, investigate, and solve any complex client requests or complaints; particularly when multiple departments or teams are involved
• Coordinate with all stakeholders for proper delivery of test deliverables to the client

• To collaborate with the Laboratory Operations Manager in planning and pursuing capacity and technical capability development, quality, efficiency and sustainability of the Chemical Laboratories.

• Responsible in controlling and organizing the day-to-day technical operations of the AFL and EHS   chemical testing laboratories and ensuring compliance of technical implementation activities and procedures to ISO 9001, ISO/IEC Guide 17025 requirements, and global system requirements.
• Controls the selection, hiring, development of people as well as the implementation of disciplinary actions including terminations based on performance and competence vis-à-vis business needs.
• Ensures that Lab personnel undergo and pass proficiency testing to ensure the quality of work results.
• Effectively manages the utilization of laboratory resources including monitoring of equipment efficiency and laboratory analyst effectiveness
• Develops and recommends new testing services.
• Reviews new test procedures, manages the method development of new services, and recommends costing as inputs to sales, marketing and business development.
• Collaborates with the Sales and Development Team in customer discussion of new testing capabilities and other technical related concerns.
• Oversees all technical chemical laboratory activities and operations in accordance with the company policies and procedures and other international standards to which SGS subscribes.
• Work with Operations Executive/Junior Operations Executive/Technical Operations Assistant to ensure the operational requirements and performance targets of the chemical testing laboratories are achieved through proper manpower planning, work distribution, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Prepares reports on the chemical laboratories compliance to quality plan requirements, technical capability development progress and other operational reports such as instrument utilization, learning and development needs, and other parameters in accordance to the technical operations objectives.
• Reviews technical reports or other technical documents related to quality and safety of the laboratory.
• Performs various administrative duties such as but not limited to work distribution, staff performance monitoring including giving of feedback to ensure they meet performance standards, providing training and/or disciplining staff when necessary.
• Ensures compliance to the Group and national policies including but not limited to the maintenance of the Quality Management System
• Operating to the highest standards of ethics, in accordance with the SGS Code of Integrity.
• Operate in liaison with business management and operations support team in the resolution of business development & operational matters which impact delivery of service to the customer
• Design and implement business & operational solutions such as new tests or laboratory services to support AFL - EHS business strategies and/or directives.
• Provide technical assistance to business teams on specific testing services and queries.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the Laboratory Operations Manager either in support of departmental goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
