Position: Data Analyst 2

Work Hours: M - F EST

Holidays: TBD

Pay Range: 1000- 2000 USD/month

We are looking to hire a data analyst to join our analytics team. You will be working alongside the technical and analytics teams. You will be responsible for the creation of new analytics dashboards driven by business needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, clean, and process large business data sets. 
• Work with stakeholders to understand their business objectives and provide relevant, clear, concise, and digestible data to them.
• Deliver data first solutions to stakeholders within Tableau.
• Import, clean, and merge new data sets into Tableau from external and internal sources.
• Support and maintain new and existing dashboards in the Tableau ecosystem.
• Translate business objectives into actionable intelligence dashboards. 
• Distill and combine data sets into logical groups.
• Onboard and train new users to consume and create new dashboards.

• BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree
• 1-2 years of experience in business analytics, process automation, or data and statistical analysis
• Proficiency and experience creating dashboards from multiple separate data sources
• Experience using a major data visualization platform (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, etc.) or other data visualization software (R, D3.js, etc.)
• Ability to break down large problems into small actionable pieces
• Excellent communication skills working with stakeholders across the company.

Nice to have:

• Experience in data analysis for e-commerce or B2B companies
• Experience with SQL and extracting data from relational databases
• Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking program metrics including return on investment
• Previous experience or knowledge of the flooring industry
• Programming experience particularly with Python and Python analytics frameworks such as Pandas and Scikit Learn

• Generate and capitalize on new sales and business opportunities in order to meet required revenue targets within defined areas of responsibility.
• Prepare individual sales and marketing programs and action plans in line with the overall business strategy to ensure a targeted and focused approach that consistently contributes to the overall growth objectives of the business.
• Meet assigned sales targets as set by the Business Director and Business Manager.

• Develop web applications using Django framework.
• Write backend code in Python for handling HTTP requests, business logic, and database interactions.
• Design and optimize database schemas.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend frameworks.
• Test, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented.
• Collaborate with team members through version control, code reviews, and documentation.
• Deploy applications to production servers and assist with DevOps tasks.
• Stay updated with Django and related technologies through continuous learning.

• Ideally with a bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5 or more years of professional experience as a Django developer
• 2 years of continuous of work experience in their prior position; ideally with a US based company
• Basic knowledge of Frontend development
• experience with Rest APIs, and cloud AWS, Azure, or GCP
