The Territory Business Manager is responsible for generating and cultivating an increasing loyal customer base for Pilmico Foods Corporation through active selling and establishing relationships with the livestock and poultry farm, feed mills and traders. In charge of translating continuous market share within a specified territory. This position is also responsible for ensuring the maintenance of credit terms within acceptable corporate standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Market Potential

1. Contributes to determining market potential at the territory level thru the conduct of dealer and end-user market reading and profiling of prospective customers

II. Business Plan

1. Implements approved placement strategies for the territory
2. Develops and proposes an overall business approach in an assigned territory to include but not limited to placement and pricing strategy of soya, wheat and other feed commodities.

III. Customer Relations

1. Serves as a link and provides support between the customer and the company in all transactions related to order fulfillment
2. Gathers, provides feedback and monitors intervention on customer concerns pertaining to product and services

IV. Sales Operations

1. Verifies all critical information necessary to determine worthiness of a prospective customer prior to endorsement
2. Executes, leads generation and negotiations to prospective customers
3. Plans and executes the territory KRAs in order to grow the business in an assigned territory
4. Helps in managing AR of the territory through effective collection
5. Implements and evaluates effectiveness of defined sales activities in the territory
6. Monitors the services of third party manpower service provider in the technical sales in an assigned territory
7. Assists in providing technical training to third party service provider

V. Other Tasks

1. Participates in current and future corporate initiatives such as PL, PPM, ISO, 5S, ISMS, Branding, CRM, IBP, COMREL, Safety, etc.
2. Participates in projects and improvements on sales and marketing process as may be assigned

Job Objective

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for generating and cultivating an increasing loyal customer base for PFC products through active selling with the dealers and distributors that will translate to continuous growth in the market share within a territory. The position is also responsible for the collection of payments from customers ensuring that accounts do not go beyond the credit terms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development in the Territory

1. Develops Territory Sales and Marketing plan that includes market analysis, projected sales growth and competitor information. 

2. Assists the National Sales Manager in business planning and recommends potential market areas in the designated territory.

3. Undertakes monthly market study on product price, price trend, competitor’s promotional activities, product placement, price positioning, distribution network and logistical support.

Credit & Collection Management

1. Ensures efficient collection from dealers/distributors accounts to ensure that they do not go beyond the agreed credit terms by regularly doing collection visits.

Distributor Management (Customer Relationship Management)

1. Provides assistance to the distributors in building his/her business through helping him/her in developing his/her sales strategies and in linking with sub-dealers and end-users (bakeries)

2. Assists dealers/distributors in the recruitment of sales personnel.

3. Trains the sales personnel of the distributor in the effective transfer of selling principles and techniques, product knowledge, market research, and information.

4. Provides technical assistance, e.g. baking demonstration to end users (bakeries)

5. Handles customer complaints. Assists in the warehousing concerns of dealers/distributors when needed. Coordinates with the Technical Service Analysts regarding quality issues of products.

6. Supervises the achievement of sales personnel under the distributor in the achievement of sales targets.

7. Monitors, analyzes and evaluates dealer/distributors’ sales achievement. Provides recommendations and solutions to findings.

8. Operates within the approved territory sales budget.

The Project Manager manages a diverse range of technical Information Technology (IT) projects. The management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilizing the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality.

• Budgeting and Forecasting:  Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Work closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets aligned with the company's strategic goals.  Utilizes forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
• Financial Analysis:  Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling.  Identify key performance drivers and opportunities for improvement.
• Investment Valuation:  Builds financial models and valuation cases, and performs investment analysis for expansions, new businesses, initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity, and mergers and acquisitions.  Conducts post-mortem analysis and investment lookback after achieving milestones of investment projects.
• Strategic Decision Support:  Collaborate with senior management and department heads to provide financial insights and analysis for strategic decision-making. Present financial findings in a clear and concise manner.

Make recommendations to support sustainable growth and profitability.  Advises on long-term business and financial planning and provides strategic recommendations to the Management.
• Performance Metrics and KPIs:  Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial health of the business.  Provide regular reports and dashboards to management for performance evaluation.
• Financial Systems and Processes:  Continuously improve financial planning systems and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.  Implement best practices and streamline workflows where necessary.
• Cost Analysis:  Analyze and optimize company expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement without compromising quality.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:  Work closely with finance and non-finance teams to ensure alignment with financial goals and strategic initiatives. Act as a financial advisor, assisting teams in making data-driven decisions.

• Team Leadership:  Manage a team of financial analysts and planning professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering their professional growth.
