About the job:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team. While direct experience in financial services or wealth management is preferred, we are open to candidates who exhibit exceptional qualities such as fast learning, proactive problem-solving, and keen attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Accurately input and maintain data related to the firm, funds, investors, and procedural documentation.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Assist in maintaining records and documentation, including client information, subscription/redemption requests, and daily monitoring of group email boxes.
Reporting:
- Support the preparation and review of reports related to fund performance, financial statements, etc.
Reconciliation:
- Collaborate in reconciling discrepancies in reported financials, fund positions, ensuring overall accuracy.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement, working with the team to streamline procedures and improve operational effectiveness.
Ad Hoc Projects:
- Participate in special projects or assignments, contributing to process improvement initiatives and overall operational efficiency.
Administrative Tasks:
- Handle various administrative tasks, including scheduling, as needed.
- At least 2 years of experience in the similar position
- Fast learner with a proactive and innovative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and think critically without excessive guidance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
