Wrist Service Center is looking for an IT Business Contingency Specialist who will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the IT Business Contingency capability within the Information Security Department. You will be involved in designing the organization's approach to IT Business Contingency, including Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery. As the IT Business Contingency Specialist, you will develop detailed plans and procedures, ensuring they are effectively implemented, tested, and kept up to date.

What you'll be doing:

• Establish IT Business Contingency Capability:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, risks, and dependencies.
  • Define the scope and objectives of the IT Business Contingency program.
  • Develop strategies for Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery tailored to the organization's needs.

• Design IT Business Contingency Processes:

  • Design comprehensive frameworks, policies, and procedures for IT Business Contingency.
  • Identify critical systems, applications, and data assets requiring protection.
  • Develop risk assessment methodologies and impact analysis frameworks.

• Plan Development:

  • Create detailed IT Business Contingency plans, including response protocols, escalation procedures, and communication strategies.
  • Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of contingency plans.

• Testing and Validation:

  • Coordinate and conduct regular testing exercises, including tabletop simulations, scenario-based drills, and full-scale exercises.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of contingency plans and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document lessons learned and update plans accordingly.

• Training and Awareness:

  • Provide training and awareness programs to ensure all stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities during a contingency event.
  • Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience within the organization.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and best practices related to IT Business Contingency.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits to assess the maturity and effectiveness of the IT Business Contingency program.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on lessons learned and industry benchmarks.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree graduate preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Proven experience in IT Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery planning and implementation.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with industry-standard IT Business Continuity frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, BCI Good Practice Guidelines).
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and data protection strategies.
• Project management experience is a plus.
