OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Senior Business Partner – Contracts to manage and oversee tender and contract management, ensure that all commercial contracts/tender processes, terms, and conditions are well prepared/negotiated, followed, implemented, coordinated with internal/external customers, and completed. Responsible for implementing strategic sourcing in the procurement of goods and services to be under contract and warrant that goods and services of high value/risk are covered under contracts. The role will be reporting to the Superintendent – Procurement.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Maintains and updates contracts registry for the company and physical and digital records in coordination with the Legal Department
• Responsible for the preparation, revision, review, update, and completion of contracts for goods and services including preparation of contract plans and strategies
• Negotiate contract terms with external and internal customers and get the best value
• Ensure understanding and compliance by the internal customers/contract owners of the contract terms
• Collaborate with contract owners for the proper implementation of contract terms
• Attend contract meetings including performance evaluation meetings for suppliers/service provider as maybe required and ensure to report matters discussed in the meeting
• Implement contract management in accordance with applicable company standards/policies
• Identify goods and services for tender in coordination with relevant internal customers
• Prepare a tender plan including strategies to maximize the value of the tender process
• Timely completion of tenders
• Implement the procurement of goods and services guidelines as may be amended from time to time
• Ensure that high-risk/expenditure goods and services are under contract

• Supporting project delivery teams from planning to project completion.
• Ensuring project implementation according to plans, designs and specifications.
• Ensuring projects are completed timely and cost effectively following Industry standards and relevant specifications.
• Liaise with client and coordinate trades onsite.
• Building and fostering exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of Project Management Plans, with both the Safety team and the Project Manager.
• Develop and maintain construction programs. 
• Review scope of works and allocate personnel accordingly.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive on-site team productivity. 

OceanaGold are seeking a suitably experienced and motivated Superintendent – Mine Planning to support the delivery of specialist technical support to mine operations spanning mine engineering, business improvement, long-term mine planning, short-term mine planning and survey whilst ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and social performance. A strong background in operational excellence, executing innovative solutions and continually improving underground technical performance will ensure your success in this challenging and highly rewarding senior site-based appointment.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to a specialist team of Mining professionals.
• Advising and assisting the management team in the development of strategies, priorities and schedules, including annual budgets, monthly forecasts, short-term mine planning and Life of Mine (LOM) planning.
• Support and lead technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes consistent with mining principles and practical application in an environment that is focused on integration, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Develop, maintain and ensure leading practices (operational and technical) are incorporated into studies, projects and operations.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring of professionals to develop individual and team capabilities.
• Actively contribute to underground mining improvement and innovation initiatives (including identification, development and implementation)
• Provide leadership and guidance that ensures the operation delivers to plan in respect of production, mine development, cost per ounce/cash flow while maintaining regulatory compliance.
