The VAM Production Specialist uses their expertise in food manufacturing, food safety and quality control to establish or improve existing production processes and activities for all value-added meat products. He monitors VAM production in different toll manufacturing facilities, supervises strict implementation of standard production processes and quality controls, and ensures accuracy and completeness of production reports and other documents.

JOB SUMMARY:

Production Associate is under the supervision of Flour Mill Production Supervisor. Ensures that additive requirements of all brands are being met and all documented procedures are being followed.                    

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Flour additive dosing and control

1. Coordinates with the production supervisor on the flour to produce and additive to add.
2. Conduct feed rate per additive feeder as required in SOP.
3. Ensures that correct dosage of additive is being added to flour as per required by Feed Rate of Flour Additives given by QA.
4. Ensures that all additive feeders are running normally and accurately.

Chlorine Addition Micro

5. Ensures that the correct amount of chlorine is added for AP/CF and other flour requiring chlorine as per pH requirement set by QA.
6. Operate the chlorine addition facility. Ensure that all machines are running normally.
7. Ensures that all chlorine tanks are properly and safely closed during shutdowns.
8. Monitor chlorine header pressure. Ensure that actions are immediately taken when the chlorine tank is emptied.
9. Facilitate installation of spare chlorine tank when a tank is emptied.

Packing Operation

10. Checks and monitors flour blending ratio. Ensure that it complies with the formulation set by QA.
11. Take a random slick test on pack out flour to see if it conforms to the standard reference.
12. Conduct moisture analysis of flour as required by the sampling schedule. Record and submit to QA.

Inventory Management

13. Withdraws flour additives from QA Laboratory.
14. Maintains inventory records of on-hand additives and performs physical count.
15. Maintains inventory records of on-hand chlorine tanks.
16. Monitor daily usage and ensure that actual usage is the same with theoretical usage.
17. Ensures proper storage of on-hand additives.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Supervisor for Egg Production is responsible for managing the operations of the Rearing and/or Laying sections of the company’s layer farm. He/she implements programs (biosecurity, animal husbandry, etc) and procedures in order to achieve layer operational efficiency and production targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

REARING and LAYING PROCESSES & ACTIVITIES

• Manages and coordinates all major activities and ensures that standard operating procedures are adhered to:
  • Pre-loading and transfer/receiving preparations (day old pullet chick-in, transfer of pullets)
    Brooding, debeaking
  • Medication and Vaccination
  • Sample Weighing for Conformity and Uniformity
  • Culling
  • Post-transfer Cleaning
  • Repairs between cycles
  • Prepares and monitor budget
• Ensure rearing and layer house systems (Feeds, Water, Ventilation, Lighting, Egg Collection, Manure Collection, Cage, etc.) are working and in good condition, specifically:

• Implements flock health programs for the assigned farms. Applies therapeutic regimen as needed and as instructed by the Farm Veterinarian
• Conducts routine rounds in the farms to check on the facility status and health status of animals and responds to control disease situations. 
• Conducts over-all assessment of the facility and husbandry practices in the farms to evaluate factors that may influence and impact the flock health.
• Analyzes trends based on metrics and interpret results by identifying possible causes of abnormalities requiring immediate dispositions or recommendations for an appropriate course of action

FARM BIOSECURITY POLICY

• Ensures that the company’s biosecurity policies and SOPs are strictly followed.
• Conducts regular biosecurity audits to ensure compliance on the biosecurity procedures.
• Review on processes and practices that may help improve the existing biosecurity procedures.
• Provides biosecurity recommendations to further improve the farms' biosecurity procedures.

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

• Checks inventory of supplies (Feeds, Office Supplies, MedVax, R&M, etc) and ensures that stocks are sufficient all the time.
• Ensures that supply stocks (Feeds, Office Supplies, MedVax, R&M, etc) are available for use in the farms.
• Ensures proper management of near expiry medicines and vaccines including other supply stocks to avoid or minimize expiring stocks.
• Ensures proper implementation of biosecurity procedures for incoming stocks in the farms.
• Perform necessary System Transactions

REGULATORIES

• Prepares for regulatory documents, e.g. Animal Welfare, Animal Disease Monitoring Certificate, Biosecurity Policy, Veterinary Health Certificate, Vaccination Records, etc.
• Prepares documents and facilitates the processes necessary to secure shipping documents and other farm certificates, permits or licenses.
• Coordinates with relevant government agencies to ensure smooth and seamless transactions in the regulatory requirements

TEAM SUPERVISOR

• Supervise, monitors, and evaluates the performance of direct subordinates

JOB SUMMARY:

The Production Associate - Toll Mill is responsible for ensuring efficient toll mill production execution - from elevation, dosing, grinding, mixing, pelleting and bagging operations, by collaborating and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders of the toll mill business. He ensures that all stakeholders' activities, processes and outputs conform to the documented agreement.      

Planning & Production Execution:
1. Coordinates with Toll Mill Supervisor in reviewing toll mill volume allocation for production planning.
2. Ensures toll mill volumes are produced on time and according to customers' specifications.
3. Actively helps in finding solutions for customer concerns and distribution complaints.
4. Coordinates with the toll miller the sequence of raw materials to be elevated to minimize material run out based on Production line up.
5. Submit reports to the Toll Mill Supervisor and update stock cards for the raw materials received during the shift.
6. Coordinates with the toll miller regarding the type of product to be produced.
7. Check/review the formulation and make necessary adjustments in coordination with NITR personnel.
8. Ensures that all raw materials to be dosed are in accordance with the mixing guide provided by NITR.
9. Close coordination with the toll miller to ensure that sequences of batching are being followed based on the production schedule.
10. Checks all pelleting parameters and coordinates with the Toller for necessary adjustment based on product formulation.
11. Monitors and ensures the feeds being produced conforms with company standards in terms of quality such as pellet durability, color, size, and nutritional value
12. Validates dosing report provided by Toller per process order.
13. Provides and ensures required reports are correct and timely generated which is essential for production documentation.

Process Order Management (ERP-SAP)
1. Timely process orders transactions - Goods Receiving (GR), Goods Issuance (GI), Confirmations and Technically Completion.

Maintains confidentiality in terms of product formulation whether commercial, customized or experimental feed.

Food Safety:

JOB SUMMARY :

The Production Clerk is responsible in providing accurate data and reports of the layer farm by proper consolidation and encoding of production data and inventory. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the availability of feeds, veterinary and office supplies of the farm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Data Management and Reporting:

 1. Accurately consolidates, encodes and reports daily production data, poultry mortality or movements; update, maintain and report inventory of veterinary supplies (medicines/vaccines), feeds and other supplies and facilitate their delivery & issuance as well.

2. Updates system to reflect real time inventory and issuance of various supplies.

Inventory Management:

3. Prepares Farm Purchase Requisition (PR), e.g. medicines, vaccines and supplies, and others, upon instruction from Farm Supervisors, Farm Veterinarians and Farm Managers.

4. Ensures the timely preparation and issuance of various poultry medicines, vaccines and supplies to farm personnel.

5. Manages the feed request of the farm and its delivery schedules .

6. Ensures accurate inventory count of stocks weekly.

7. Maintains enough level of farm supplies, medicines and vaccines to ensure availability for farm requirements.

8. Ensures proper care and handling of farm supplies:

• vaccines placed in refrigerator within one hour of receipt.
• FIFO system observed in storage of supplies
• expiration dates of medicines monitored

9. Coordinates with Farm Driver the timely pick-up of medicine and other stocks from feedmill after advice from Warehouse.

10. Prepares and issues Gate Pass, Material Transfer Slip, Requisition Slips and similar forms as needed.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Farm Production Technician (for Breeding & Gestation) is responsible for the over-all activities relating to the breeding and gestation unit which include breeding and implementation of breeding related programs, management of pregnant sows/gilts, feeding, health assessment & medication, biosecurity, barn management, data recording and data management and other related programs under the Breeding & Gestation operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Genetic Program

1. Implements genetic program and monitors, evaluates and analyzes results of the genetic program.

2. Ensures compliance of the section to the approved genetic program.

3. Monitors and ensures accuracy, completeness and correctness of breeders' profile and breeder animals' individual records in the field and in the swine production management software.

Breeding process

1. Carry out heat detection, artificial insemination, boar semen collection and semen processing activities and ensures compliance to the section's SOPs.

2. Assess and monitors the breeding activities to ensure that production performance targets are achieved.

3. Reports any issues or concerns that may be noted in the breeding activities.

4. Analyzes performance gaps and recommends measures to address gaps.

5. Recommends and implements enhancements to existing breeding programs and activities.

6. Coordinates with other sections to ensure seamless integration of the breeding processes to the entire swine production flow.

Breeding & Gestation Operations

1. Carry out barn management activities to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness and functionality of the breeding and gestation facilities.

2. Carry out procedures relating to the proper management of gilts, sows and boars in the section.

3. Conducts activities related to hog sales declaration and selling of pigs in the farm.

4. Collects and records swine operations data & maintains production records.
