Purpose of the Role:
Work collaboratively with our team to complete detailed residential construction drawings in order to obtain building consent.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Use ArchiCAD to complete detailed residential architectural drawings of buildings and structures within the timeframes allowed.
- Interpreting additional consultants documentation and include into construction drawings where required.
- Ensure compliance with NZ statutory and regulatory building requirements and manufacturer/ supplier specifications.
- Assist with the consenting process, completing RFI questions as required.
- Additional tasks as required such as completing 3D renders, updating templates.
Performance Indicators:
- Billable hours output of 6.5 hours per day, loaded into specified workflow system daily.
- Low council RFI return rate average of 7 or less.
- Completing allocated tasks within specified timeframes
Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma of Architectural Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in residential architectural design in NZ.
- The ability to manage a portfolio of jobs and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Archicad software and 3D rendering skills.
- Confident English communication at all levels of business.
- A strong understanding of the NZ industry materials, practices and procedures with a sound knowledge of the NZ building code and NZS 3604
- A positive solution orientated disposition and a “can do” attitude.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn new skills, develop and progress
