• Leads effective meetings to review and refine schedule to align with the budgeted timeframe making critical decisions regarding schedule content and its implications;
• Identifies and reports any deviations or risks related to scope changes to the shutdown management team, and systematically submits contingency plans to the leadership team;
• Provides input for the development of shutdown processes related to procurement, materials control, and system management; and
• Identifies opportunities for shutdown improvements by reviewing practices, criteria, and procedures for an effective shutdown execution.

Seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Specialist-Maintenance Planning who will be responsible in the maintenance planning of all equipment maintained by the department which includes the surface mobile and equipment, underground mobile and fixed plant equipment, communications and IT, and camp facilities equipment. The role will report to the Supervisor – Planning.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling of all maintenance work through computerized maintenance management system-Pronto Xi, to ensure resources are prioritized in accordance with the maintenance strategy
• Ensure planned routine maintenance, non-routine maintenance, breakdowns, approved modifications are scheduled to be undertaken with minimum disruption to the mining operation
