Chevron is accepting online applications for the Global Mobility Payroll Specialist position through March 22, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Accountable for day-to-day operations with the Global Payroll Teams, acting as lead liaison between these teams and Global Mobility for the expatriate payroll.
Accountable for data integrity and detailed knowledge of the systems’ (APro and Workday) functionalities and interfaces to process payroll efficiently and accurately.
Responsible in running payrolls, handling payroll related inquiries and issues including researching and correcting variances.
Responsible for developing and running basic payroll related reports in APro and Workday.
Develop and administer trainings regarding payroll with relevant internal parties.
Develop Pay, Tax Reconciliations and Batch Compensation Sheets, as needed.
Participates in Global Mobility Payroll, Reporting and Analytics (EPRA) Team Projects, as assigned.
Accountable for adhering to service level agreements and implementing improvements.
Review payroll processes and implement improvements where required.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance or any related field.
Possess background in payroll processing.
Must have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and independently set own work priorities with high attention to detail.
Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and peers.
Able to communicate clearly through verbal and written channels with various levels in the organization.
Experienced with Windows based applications such as Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas), Word, Power Point and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, and AssignmentPro (APro) systems or equivalent Global Mobility application is highly desired.
At least 3 years of experience in international HR environment, specific to global policies and payroll processing.
Exposure to SOX compliance is an advantage.
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
International Considerations:
Selected candidate will work in the Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
