ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads a diverse team processing global payments, auditing travel & expense claims, invoice processing, accurately and timely.

As EMEA Collections Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading direct management of collections analysts in EMEA time zone, supporting EMEA customers, Collections, reconciliation, customer engagement & cash forecast. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:  Lead and mentor a team of accounts receivable analysts, providing guidance, training, and conducting regular performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness and growth.
• Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and trackers on accounts receivable, meticulously monitoring collections activities and analyzing results. Identify areas for enhancement and implement strategic solutions to optimize processes.
• Delinquency Management: Vigilantly monitor accounts receivable aging reports, especially delinquent accounts, and devise actionable plans to reduce outstanding balances while positively influencing customer behavior.
• Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash forecast accuracy and track incoming payments against forecasted amounts to ensure financial stability and operational continuity.
• Reconciliation & Dispute Management: Scrutinize open aging line items, both debits and credits, and facilitate account reconciliations as necessary. Collaborate with various internal teams, including Credit, Sales, Biz Ops, RMA, Logistics, Tax, CMR, Treasury, Rebates, AR Maintenance, Cash Application, Cash Management and Accounts Payable, to swiftly resolve billing discrepancies and customer issues.
• Policy & Procedure Oversight: Review and enhancement of global Accounts Receivable policies, practices, and systems. Engage with business partners to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Enforce adherence to company policies and maintain all necessary records to meet internal and external audit requirements. Safeguard files, transactions, and audit trails while upholding office procedures.
• Periodic Business Activities: Assist in critical periodic business activities, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Performance Metrics: Ensure the achievement of key performance metrics, continuously striving for excellence and operational efficiency within the accounts receivable function.

As APAC Collections Manager, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading direct management of collections analysts in APAC time zone, supporting APAC & Japan customers, Collections, reconciliation, customer engagement & cash forecast. 

The MRO (Global Chemicals & Gases) Commodity Manager is responsible for full management of the MRO Procurement category management process; including vendor management, selection, consolidation, cost, negotiations, contracting. The CM manages internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve supply, processes and services

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, align and implement commodity strategies
• Negotiate and manage the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between WD and the supply base.
• Develop and present cost reduction opportunities to business and management.
• Conduct RFP/RFQs and lead cross functional teams through the selection process of preferred suppliers with effective scoring criteria to evaluate supplier proposals in accordance with company goals and policies
• Support Materials Sourcing related to individual commodities
• Develop and maintain a program of evaluation for the supplier base which includes certification requirements. Coordinate with Material Planner(s) to generate plan for slow moving or obsolete inventory.
• Drive cost reduction programs, including alternative sourcing and exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action.
• Maintain a safe work environment following all EH&S requirements. Interface with EH&S and Supply Base to ensure quality standards are met or exceed.
• Develop, refine and implement category strategies and tactics that enable the procurement of MRO products and services at the highest value benefit to the WD.
• Manage supplier relationships with focus on supply risk management, contract risk management and cost management
• Lead cross-functional meetings with various business functions and develop a communication strategy to keep internal clients informed about procurement processes, supplier strategy, and procurement policies
• Analyze total costs, assist business functions with ROI analysis, price and rate benchmarking and negotiate favorable business terms to leverage Western Digital purchasing power

Supplier Management

• Manage supplier relationships, supply risk management and cost management of assign suppliers and/or commodities
• Expedite orders as required
• Mediate supplier issues and resolve customer / supplier contract disputes as necessary
• Monitor the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontracts.
• Identify, Create, Manage Auto PO Contracts and Catalogs in Oracle

As an Accounts Payable Sr Manager, you will be entrusted on the ff:

• Accountable for the entire engagement delivery of Global Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense operations
• Provide strategic leadership ensuring that function goals are consistent with the overall Finance Organization’s goal.
• Gather, understand, and present Key Performance Indicators and SLAs with a focus on providing high quality service as well as transparency to  customers
• Overall control owner for accounts payable process.  Drives compliance on SOX and process controls
