Octal Philippines Inc. is excited to announce an opportunity for a BI/Data Management Junior Developer. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our data analytics and business intelligence initiatives. You will work within a collaborative environment to help transform data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the organization.

• Provides assistance to BI team in all aspects of the development, testing, data validations and implementation of the project
• Learn and understand Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL
• Gain expertise in BI tools such as IBM Cognos, Power BI and Staq and utilize them on future projects
• Work with the team in documenting project details, workflows, technical specifications and operational procedures
• Continually improving coding skills

·       Lead and execute high quality project management support to Visa clients and processors to ensure client expectations are exceeded 

·       Coordinate directly with clients to analyze card program setup requirements to implement Visa products and services to support the business and formulate implementation solutions 

·       Confidently manage client in parallel to product developments and a changing landscape 

·       Build and enhance positive working relationships with key Visa client institutions, processors, and internal stakeholders

·       Be able to communicate complex, technical concepts in a focused and well-organized manner 

·       Be able to learn and acquire knowledge in modern technologies in keeping step with market developments 

·       Good analytical skills, not just for problem analysis, but to use technical acumen for reviewing appropriateness of technical or project documents and in integrating systems solutions

  This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. The candidate will support large, complex organizational change initiatives and lead small to medium-sized change initiatives at Visa, such as business process and technology modifications, concentrating on the people side of change. This role provides vital project support to the lead change manager in developing and implementing plans to increase employee adoption of new tools and processes and reduce resistance to changes.

• Provide tactical support for change management projects
• Coordinate change management project and sponsor meetings, presentations, training sessions, office hours, and other meetings and events
• Gather data for impact analyses and readiness assessments
• Develop communications materials
• Track and report on change management activities
• Lead small to medium-sized change initiatives and develop change management plans for successful adoption.

The standard working hours for this role currently are from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, local Manila time.
