Position: Junior Lawyer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 48hrs/week EST (TBD with client)

Salary Range: 1000 – 2000 USD

We have been proudly serving residents of the Bronx community for over 40 years. Practice areas include Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Slip & Fall cases, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Premises Liability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support senior attorneys in case preparation and legal opinions
• Create, review, and edit legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
• Assist in client communication, information gathering, and case updates under senior attorneys' guidance
• Organize case files, maintain records, and ensure deadlines are met
• Work with senior attorneys and legal professionals to develop legal strategies
• Stay updated on legal changes and industry trends through professional development

• A fast and reliable internet connection (at least 100 mbps)
• Working back-up internet connection (mobile data not included)
• In-home office setup including Windows Computer (including webcam) with the most recent version of MS Office installed (all programs; Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• No less than 8 GB RAM
• Minimum of Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent.
• Adobe Acrobat Pro or any PDF editor
• Note: Mac does not support some of the required applications needed for the role

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Junior Lawyer
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Prior legal internship or clerkship experience
• Background in any of our practice areas: Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Slip & Fall cases, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Premises Liability
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Willing to stay in the company for 3 years or more
