Your assignment

• You will be based in Philippines, and are responsible to achieve maximum sales growth and profitability in the online channels, while taking care of the IKEA product range and our commercial priorities within the framework of the IKEA Concept and brand values.
• You do this by merchandising the IKEA website & Shopping App in the most optimal way, coordinating & aligning content to the commercial calendar, converting online traffic to sales, understanding local consumers’ life at home & shopping behaviour, exploring avenues for repeat purchases & engagements, securing a seamless online shopping experience and aligning it with the customers’ user journey on the IKEA website & Shopping App.

Reporting to the VISUAL MERCHANDISING MANAGER, this SPECIALIST role is tasked to inspire and surprise visitors by presenting and communicating the IKEA home furnishing offers through strong visual impressions that exceed visitors’ expectations, further strengthening the IKEA Brand and, at the same time, converting more visitors into customers.

Your assignment

• You use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation, thereby positioning the IKEA brand in the local market as the home furnishing specialist, and the IKEA store as an up-to-date and innovative destination that always offers something new;
• You work together with the Comm&In team and other functions in identifying commercial opportunities and understanding the impact of actions on the financial results;
• You ensure high quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost consciousness in planning and implementation of all range presentation solutions using global tools, proven solutions and IKEA best practices that will support a convenient shopping experience and reflect the local needs of life at home.
