What will you do?
In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security.
We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’. ​
- Minimum 8-10 years professional experience in engineering consulting specialising in geotechnical engineering;
- Recognised Civil Engineering qualification (Bachelor/Master Degree);
- Proven technical proficiency and experience in geotechnical and foundation design and analysis on infrastructure projects in Singapore, including foundations, deep excavation, basement cofferdam design and strutting system – permanent and temporary works;
- Sound understanding and application of Hongkong design codes and commonly used geotechnical analysis software including PLAXIS 2D and 3D
- A proven ability to be able to understand the ground and model it in all its complexity, and to understand construction sequencing of foundations, retaining walls and basement projects;
- Energetic, proactive, reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of customer service principles and working closely with Contractors.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Undertake geotechnical engineering design and analysis on infrastructure construction projects;
- Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level;
- Work independently or as part of a team;
- Prepare detailed well written reports or sections of reports;
- Communicate clearly with colleagues, with Hongkong’s team and managers and clients.

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant technical qualification and chartered status would be preferable.
