• Reconcile financial results on a periodic basis (monthly and quarterly) for both P&L and Balance Sheet in order to validate the accuracy of financially reported results.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure all transactions have been properly recorded.
• Perform financial analysis, general ledger account reconciliations, and generate key reports.
• Utilize information from third parties and Business Units to report financial results and create and record technical journal entries needed to support the accounting for the business units.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Statutory reports.
• Provide assistance, reconciliations and other support as required for internal and external auditors.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required by the department or other business units.

Ensures correct and timely Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issuance in relation to the productivity and quality targets of the Certification Center.

· Assess product and/or exporter risk levels, identification of product essential requirements and applicable standards following the Business Rules on conformity assessment, classification, import eligibility and process flows, Conformity Assessment Instructions (CAIs), and other related references.

· Provides quality and technically-based opinion on product standards and product classification and certification.

· Assists in the resolution of standards, classification and certification cases and other requests and or inquiries by utilization of technical expertise on specific goods or commodity

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct collections per contract and invoice terms by directly interfacing with customer and managing customer payment cycle.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies, issues and disputes on a timely manner

• Reconcile accounts receivable against payments, customer deductions / claims, and customers’ accounts payable records.

• Minimize bad debt risk and maximize accounts receivable collections.

• Provide weekly accurate cash forecast and risk indication.

• Work closely and coordinate with internal and external teams such as Rebates, Sales, Sales Operations, RMA, CMR, Legal, IT, EDI, SAP OTC, Buyer, Client Support, AR Maintenance, Cash Application, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, etc.

• Prepare and send customer statements / billings, invoices, credit/debit memos, etc. and upload invoices in customer portals as required.

• Review of Customer Account for an Order Releasing Request / Order Backlog and provide comprehensive Waterfall Analysis.

• Support controls by coordinating and delivering documentation / information required by internal and external auditors. Manage files, records, transactions and other office procedures and maintain audit trail.

• Perform key periodic (month end close, quarter end close, year end etc.) business activities.

• Resolve most issues independently. Seek guidance on more complex issues. Utilize available tools / systems, creative problem solving and critical thinking to develop alternative solutions.
