As our Web3 Gaming Writer/Editor, you'll be responsible for covering news, releases, and innovations in the web3 gaming sector, utilizing AI tools to enhance content output. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and web3 gaming, coupled with excellent English grammar skills and an awareness of historical events shaping these industries.
Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of developments and trends in the web3 gaming sector.
- Create engaging content covering game releases, industry innovations, and project launches.
- Utilize AI tools to optimize content creation and research processes.
- Maintain a high standard of English grammar and writing quality.
- Monitor and analyze industry news, events, and community discussions.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and develop content strategies.
- At least a one-year involvement in both the cryptocurrency and web3 gaming space.
- One to two years of professional writing or editing experience and a knack for explaining complex concepts simply.
- Familiarity engaging with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Dall-E, and Midjourney to rapidly draft and publish content.
- Ability to work independently and remotely with a portion of your availability during peak hours U.S. Eastern Time (somewhere between 8am — 6pm GMT-5)
- Fluent understanding of English grammar and writing conventions.
Nice-to-haves
- A degree in journalism, finance, mathematics, computer science or engineering.
- Prior experience working in gaming, media, or high-growth startups.
- Skills in Python, R, or SQL for interacting with and interrogating on-chain data.
- Experience using Excel and Tableau to create attractive data visualizations.
