Responsibilities

• Monitor Twitter trends, hashtags, and industry news to identify opportunities for timely and relevant posts.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage interactions to foster a positive online community.
• Analyze performance metrics, such as impressions, engagement rates, and follower growth, to optimize content strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure consistency in messaging across platforms.
• Use tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Twitter Analytics for scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Monitor competitors’ Twitter activity to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Handle crisis management on Twitter by addressing negative feedback or comments professionally and promptly.
• Stay updated on Twitter’s algorithm changes and best practices to maintain high content visibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a focus on Twitter.
• Strong understanding of Twitter's platform, features, and audience dynamics.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft concise and engaging tweets.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret Twitter metrics and derive actionable insights.
• Creative thinker who can generate fresh content ideas and adapt quickly to trends.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are currently looking for a new Social Media and Communications Manager to join our team, who will be in charge of running multiple social media accounts on platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram, alongside the editing and distribution of press releases.

This would include creating regular posts on our social media platforms (photo posts, video posts and news article links created on easy-to-use platforms like Canva). Some content topics would be provided to you, and you would also be monitoring media regularly for stories and news relating to the Foundation's areas of work in order to come up with your own content ideas. All content would be focused on promoting awareness about improving animal welfare and sustainability.

In addition, you will be in charge of editing, managing, and distributing press releases across the various regions in which Lever operates. It will also occasionally entail writing press releases and other long-form content.

This role will be based in the Philippines and will be full-time.
