Duties and Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a social media manager who has graphic design capabilities.

They'll be using Canva and Photoshop to create graphics to post here Kaizen (@kaizen.hit) • Instagram photos and videos and they will need to be good at creating captions for both IG and X. Canva graphic templates are already provided but ability to create designs from scratch will be a huge plus

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience creating social media content, captions, and designs at least 2-5 years
• Canva and Photoshop proficiency required
• PORTFOLIO IS REQUIRED
• Ability to create designs from scratch

We're seeking a full-time, expert-level social media designer/video editor to join our team.

1. You are an expert at graphic design & video editing for social media content.
2. You are an expert at editing long-form videos, as well as YouTube Shorts, TikTok / Facebook & Instagram Reels from raw video content supplied by our team.
3. You love creating memes.
4. You can show examples of your video editing skills, specifically for social media videos.
5. You can share references for business owners for whom you have created ads.
6. You create your own social media videos, so you understand hooks, view retention, and design for attention.
7. You are already, or your goal is to be an A-player, elite designer/video editor.
8. Understanding design principles and content trends for vertical video & static social media content.
9. Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, TikTok Editor, Captions A.I
10. Editing YouTube/Linkedin/TikTok/Facebook/Instagram video content & optimizing it to get people to convert.
11. Designing attention-grabbing static content (memes/carousels/gifs etc) for Linkedin, Facebook & Instagram.
12. You continually learn, & love talking about & sharing your knowledge of social media content & creative best practices.
13. You’re an expert at designing content for business audiences.
14. You’re confident in your ability to create content that grabs attention.
15. You work fast and efficiently.
16. You have 2+ years of experience in social media design/video editing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Constant learning about social media design principles and content trends for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.
2. Designing social media static content, video content & thumbnails.
3. Work with creative lead, content creators on all things related to content production.
4. Work with the team to analyze creative performance and understand what makes certain content work/ not work.
5. Take a proactive approach to find & test new tools, tactics, or strategies to level up your design capabilities.
6. Contribute to improving internal processes for how to develop world-class content.
7. Manage your projects with a high level of organization & communication.
8. Ensure all naming conventions and file storage is adhered to.
9. Continually be upskilling yourself, taking courses (paid for by us) on content design/video editing, and staying on top of content trends.

• At least 2+ years’ experience in social media design/video editing, especially YouTube/TikTok/Facebook/Instagram ads.
• You must love TikTok, Facebook & Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts and be researching daily to stay on top of trends.
• Must have working knowledge of any project management tools
• Familiar with Slack
• Ability/desire to quickly learn Captions A.I and similar A.I content tools.
• Any project management tool experience is a plus
• Working experience with Reddit is also a plus
• General knowledge in designing for attention.
• You must have a stable work-from-home office with at least 2 monitors. This can be secured upon getting hired (and so long as you are used to working on dual monitors and not confined to one small screen)
• Experience in working with a creator/influencer is a big plus
• A portfolio showcasing your sample works
