• Procurement Operation: The individual in this role manages day-to-day procurement tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and task distribution within the Buyers team while making necessary adjustments for optimal efficiency.

• Process Quality Assurance: The role includes implementing and overseeing quality control measures in procurement processes, conducting regular audits to maintain quality standards, and promptly addressing any issues.
• Vendor Onboarding and Performance Evaluation: Responsibilities involve managing the onboarding of new vendors, regularly assessing and reporting on their performance, and striving for continuous improvement in vendor services.
• Risk Identification and Operational Compliance: The role involves identifying and addressing operational risks in procurement, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, and regularly updating risk management strategies.
• KPI Oversight and Stakeholder Communication: The individual overseeing the procurement team's performance and development maintains effective communication with internal stakeholders on procurement matters.

• BS in Industrial Engineering/ Operations Management/ Economics or equivalent combination of education
• At least 3 years professional experience in the Procurement  Industry Technical and Specialized Skills: 
• Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the best terms and conditions for the organization.
• Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with suppliers. This includes understanding legal terms, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring compliance.
• Budgeting and Cost Management: Creating and managing budgets for procurement activities. Monitoring costs and identifying areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing strategies to mitigate them. This may involve contingency planning and understanding the impact of external factors on the procurement process.
• Negotiation Skills: Effectively negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions for the organization.

The Inbound Warehouse Supervisor (Micro, Packaging & Spares) is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Inbound Logistics section that handles micro, packaging & spares inventory to support Flour, Feeds and other divisions’ operational requirements. Responsible for the overall inventory management, warehouse management & SAP transactions related to this section under the Inbound Logistics Department.

Inventory Management

1. Ensures that all inventory transactions are posted real-time & accurate in the ERP system.
2. In-charge in the timely submission of reports relating to the management of the inventory module in the ERP system (inventory accuracy, clean-up of open transactions, etc.)
3. Leads the team in the proper execution of the scheduled physical inventory count & guarantees the accuracy & timeliness of variance report & endorsement.
4. Conducts root cause analysis & implements action plans to address the inventory variances.
5. Ensures proper implementation of the SOPs, business rules, guidelines & work instructions related to inventory management.
6. Troubleshoots issues related to inventory management and escalates any unresolved issues to the proper authority or department.
7. Ensures proper documentation for all material movements both in physical & system transactions.

Warehouse Management

1. Overall management of warehouse & other storage areas for micro, packaging & spares materials under the responsibility of the Inbound Logistics team.
2. Monitors the capacity utilization of warehouse & ensures that the accommodation of deliveries & timeliness of unloading is within the set standard & targets. 
3. Guarantees that incoming deliveries via local trucks, container vans & vessels will not age in the parking area, CY & port beyond the set threshold.
4. Ensures that raw material in the warehouse & other storage areas are properly labeled and identified especially for batch-managed items..
5. Establishes the put-away & picking strategies in the warehouse and monitors its proper execution. Addresses the concerns relating to the receiving, storage, transfers & issuance of materials to production and other requesting departments.
6. Manage the implementation of pest control programs in the warehouse & make sure that infestation issues are taken cared of in a timely manner.
7. Spearheads the management of RPM & materials for disposal in the warehouse and assures that these materials are handled, communicated  & elevated/disposed appropriately.
8. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the material-handling equipment and ensures compliance to the set  standards.

General Management

1. Plans and coordinates the activities of the Inbound Logistics Team to support the operations teams and other stakeholders.
2. Manages inventory risks and ensures that contingency plans are in place.
3. Develop and implement flexible solutions to aid operational efficiency, drive process improvements and add value.
4. Seeks and recommends solutions to overcome issues arising in order to meet production requirements and address operational risks.
5. Establish and update standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as required and controls to obtain and maintain efficient and effective process management.
6. Ensure operational information, reports and metrics are available to share with others in the business as required.
7. Monitor and provide reports on the achievement of targets and activity updates to management.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives and programs.
9. Validates & files billings related to Inbound Logistics activities & operational costs.

People Management

1. Manage, coach and develop the team that meets the agreed objectives; which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements;
2. Establishes a healthy & enabling working environment to bring out the best of his/her team’s performance.
3. Conducts regular communication with his/her team members and provides real-time feedback on their performance to ensure his/her engagement & growth in the organization;

Food Safety:

1. Ensures execution of quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations within the team. 
2. Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

Other Tasks:

1. Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc. 
2. Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the team leader.
