Eram Engineering, a reputable engineering firm, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Welding QC Inspector with Aramco Approval #1 and CBT (Computer Based Testing) certification. As a Welding QC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of welding operations, conducting inspections, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of welding operations in accordance with project specifications and quality standards
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of welding joints, materials, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Review and interpret welding procedures, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate with welding personnel to ensure proper setup and execution of welding processes
- Conduct material inspections and tests, including weld visual inspections, RT/UT examinations, and mechanical testing
- Monitor work progress and identify any non-conformities or deficiencies
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of inspections and test results
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated with industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to welding
- Aramco Approval #1 for Welding Inspection is mandatory
- Certification in CBT Welding Inspection is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection and quality control
- In-depth knowledge of welding procedures, materials, and equipment
- Strong understanding of welding codes, specifications, and contracts
- Experience in conducting visual inspections, RT/UT examinations, and mechanical testing
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation and report writing
Basic Salary - 7500-9000 Saudi Riyal
- 8 hours/6 days a week
- Above 48 hours a week Overtime
- Yearly Vacation
