As an Quality Inspector, you’ll be reporting to Inspector Team Leader or Operations Manager and working as part of our Operations department. The purpose of QIMA’s Operations team is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work we do is performed to the QIMA standard of quality.

Your main duties will revolve around on-site quality inspections of our clients’ products.

• Check email daily to receive inspection documents.
• Attend to inspections on time and communicate with supplier in a professional way.
• Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures.
• Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and timelines.

You will be expected to:  

• Manage our team in Cebu responsible to review product inspection reports;  
• Monitor team performance to ensure team KPI targets are met;  
• Arrange work shifts to accommodate for the workload;  
• Support team leaders with training and development activities;  
• Implement any new processes/strategies handed down by the top management;  
• Review reports validated by team members and make suggestions on improving report quality;

Mission 

Your main mission will be to contribute within the SaaS QIMAone team. QIMAone is a quality and compliance management platform designed to optimize control processes. It enables real-time collaboration with supply chain stakeholders, offering full transparency and actionable data to improve product quality and reduce operational inefficiencies.

• Design and implement automated test cases to ensure the quality of QIMAone’s platform features.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management, Development, and UX/UI Design teams to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
• Write scripts to automate manual test cases and ensure stable and maintainable test environments.
• Analyze test results, diagnose issues, and provide quick and accurate solutions.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including development cycles, demos, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Propose and implement improvements to test processes and assist in the setup of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Maintain and update automated test frameworks and suites.
• Work proactively to identify test gaps and improve code coverage.

The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team member will be reporting to the Head of Information Security and is responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization’s efforts to ensure adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and industry security best practices. This role involves coordinating, executing, and overseeing various tasks related to governance, risk management, and compliance to protect the organization's assets, reputation, and ensure operational effectiveness.

The GRC specialist will work together with the Security Operations Leader, Security Operations Engineer, and QIMA internal stakeholders to meet the objectives of the audit requirements, identify risks present in the group, and to assess non-conformities and non-compliance against the organization’s Information Security Management System Policy and align the remediation plan with target dates against the respective owners.

The GRC specialist must have a good understanding of the different security and data privacy laws and regulations and industry security best practices with the ability to apply these standards to the QIMA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Governance:
   • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and frameworks to support QIMA’s organizational governance objectives.
   • Foster a culture of security, compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
   • Conduct regular assessments and audits of governance processes to identify areas for improvement.
2. Risk Management:
   • Identify, assess, and prioritize risks for remediation that may impact the organization’s operations and overall security posture.
   • Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness, until closure.
   • Maintain a risk register and ensure all risks are documented, evaluated, and tracked.
   • Collaborate with various departments to create and implement risk management plans.
3. Compliance:
   • Stay up to date with changing regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
   • Work with the Data Privacy Office and Legal teams to ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
   • Conduct regular internal reviews and identify non-conformities against QIMA’s Information Security Management System Policy that needs to be addressed.
   • Deploy regular security awareness to all employees and work with training team for security trainings and programs to be delivered to QIMA.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain accurate records of GRC activities, including policy documents, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
   • Prepare and present reports on governance, risk, and compliance activities to senior management and the board of directors.
   • Document incidents and breaches and manage remediation actions.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Liaise with Security, IT, Compliance, Legal, HR, and other departments and stakeholders to ensure cohesive compliance and risk management efforts.
   • Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies, auditors and client security requirements.
   • Provide guidance and support to all QIMA employees on GRC-related matters.

Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

• Gather the timing of local statutory audits for all the legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited, and ensure the lists are updated on a regular basis.
• Design and formulate the timeline of the local statutory audits in alignment with Group Annual Audit.
• Lead the process for the statutory audit by timely coordinating with the legal entities and ensuring all legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited are completed and compiled.
• Lead the management of Group Audit from the group perspective and collaboratively work with the businesses and process owners to ensure that the requirements are gathered and submitted on time.
• Liaise with External Auditor to ensure that the Group Audit status is updated correctly and communicated to the relevant recipients.
• Liaise with Local and 3rd Party Advisors handling the Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for entities without local finance in the country to ensure that compliance requirements are prepared and submitted on time.
• Review, manage and recommend if the 3rd party engagement contracts be continued, amended and/or terminated based on the relationship with the Group and their ability to deliver the scope of work as per the contracts.
• Actively seek standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance and deploy innovative technology where possible to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessments and review procedures.
• Develop and conduct adequate training and prepare related information material on the Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for business continuity purposes.
• Keep the record of the 3rd party’s engagement fees, Penalties and Late Charges, and the Payment made for all the compliance requirements which can be used to assess trends of payments and penalties as well as the professional fees.
