Position Summary

The Analyst, Client Due Diligence Team, will assist in executing the client due diligence and acceptance program in line with stated AML / ATF / Sanctions policies and procedures. This includes conducting client due diligence reviews and conducting ongoing derogatory news monitoring. This role will support the Program Manager, Client Due Diligence Team, in providing AML subject matter expertise and guidance to Visa clients and businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute the CDD Center program in accordance with AML Policies and Procedures.

In this role, the Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst will support the AML and Sanctions Program Governance Sr. Director in the quality assurance program. The AML and Sanctions Program Governance team member should be able to engage with credibility and authority across Visas global compliance and product teams. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and be effective in a dynamic, matrixed environment under demanding timelines.

• Using subject matter expertise, perform quality assessment reviews on a sample and targeted basis across various business- as-usual processes

Based in Pasay, the Philippines, this position is responsible for the oversight, execution and monitoring of ongoing implementation of the Ethics and Compliance Program in the Philippines and across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Implement and maintain a robust Prevention of Sexual Harassment Standard designed to comply with the Philippines’ legal requirements. Provide effective advisory and oversight on related PSHD compliance processes in the Philippines

• Lead Ethics and Compliance program agenda in collaboration with Site Leaders and Country Manager of the Philippines in maintaining a culture of high ethical standards and integrity

• Execute effective compliance due diligence activities under Visa’s global programs including AML, ATF, Sanctions as well as ABC, COI, PSHD and other compliance policies and procedures for the Philippines businesses and SEA based staff and clients.

The Sanctions Analyst will provide support for sanctions screening, program planning, execution, tracking and communications globally. This includes the execution of ongoing alert management and operational tasks. This role will require a solid understanding of sanctions compliance and support the Senior Director, Sanctions Compliance in providing guidance to Visa clients and businesses.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for screening against sanctions lists and provide expert judgment regarding match validity

Client Services works with issuers, acquirers, processors and merchants worldwide to develop and deliver the support model for Visa Inc. This includes day-to-day operations and product support, back-office support and customer performance reporting. Client Services includes the Rules and Compliance function, which supports the structural foundation of the Visa Payments network. 

Rules and Compliance ensures the safety, security and integrity of the payment system and supports Visa clients in the development of their electronic payments business. 

Specifically, the Rules and Compliance team establishes and enforces common interoperable rules and standards for our products and services by which clients must operate their Visa programs. 

Role:

This is an individual contributor operational role, to provide support with respect to creating and implementing compliance solutions that meet the regulatory and strategic compliance objectives of Visa. The jobholder will help coordinate important programs promoting the integrity of Visa transactions. The position will be primarily accountable for investigating Visa Rule violations in relation to Marketplace, Cross Border Acceptance, Digital Wallet, Merchant Category Code, Crypto, Merchant Data Quality, Dynamic Currency Conversion, Minimum Approval Rate, Fraud Reporting, Visa Direct and / or various other new or existing compliance programs, as well as developing detailed data analyses to support these programs. Programs managed by this role may change over time based on Visa’s Compliance needs. Essential Functions:

• Develop an understanding of operations, payment processes and I.T (the Product)

• Assess and respond to Compliance related transaction queries from our Network Partners and Beneficiary banks

• Ensure responses are sent in a timely manner in line with our internal SLAs and deadlines set by the Banks.

• Identify any reoccurring issues raised by the bank, and effectively resolve any problems resulting in the reduction of Bank requests.

• Ensuring the compliance risk control framework remains aligned with external legislation.

• Conducting and/or overseeing compliance monitoring reviews and audits.

The Quality Specialist, Risk and Control is an individual contributor role responsible for performing activities related to internal control testing witin the First Line of Defense across mutiple services, service tiers and languages following documented guidelines and procedures for Client Care groups. This includes evaluation of the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and documentation of test results.

This includes collaboration and communication within the department for process improvement and internal control testing reviews,  engaging with managers and cross-functional support teams, and meeting performance targets which include accuracy and efficiency.
