As a Sr. QA Automation Engineer, your role is to help plan and implement manual and automated tests on our websites and software applications.

Responsibilities:  

• Working with developers and other members of the QA team to define and establish QA strategies and processes.  
• Planning, scheduling, and performing manual tests on the company’s websites and software applications.  
• Writing, maintaining, and executing well-developed and stable automated tests for both frontend and backend services.  
• Reporting on QA status, as appropriate, to keep project stakeholders informed on deliverables and timelines.   

• With at least 5+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing 
• development and execution of test plans and scenarios  
• experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework 
• testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms  
• source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Interprets data, analyze results using statistical techniques paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Conducts system and process audit and facilitates corrective action request to ensure the company’s compliance to its documented processes.
• Spearheads and monitors the resolution of issues and audit findings.
• Prepares report for various data monitoring and measurements.
• Works alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business and information needs.
• Identifies opportunity for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.

• Need strong programming background using either Java or Javascript/Typescript.
• With wide exposure to designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using standard automation tools and frameworks, preferably Playwright and Selenium
• Playwright: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Playwright is required (manual testing experience is acceptable for the rest)
• Selenium: At least 4 years of experience is necessary if the candidate does not have Playwright experience
• Expert with Software QA standards like creating test scenarios in BDD, triaging issues and bugs and how to properly raise them, organize and document important processes and workflows for the project and the team, and able to plan and execute different testing cycles like functional, end-to-end, integration, regression.
• CI/CD: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Has a good understanding of CICD implementation with respect to test automation, i.e. how to build, execute, and analyze automation server jobs and pipelines. Having experience setting up jobs and pipelines for the CICD implementation is a plus.
• API Testing: At least 2 years of experience is required. Needs to have background in executing and automating API tests, and helps with the setup of configurations (authentication of API calls, build requests, POC on exposed APIs that can be used) before testing.
• Needs significant exposure to agile software development, how to manage tasks within sprints and knows what to expect in dealing with the agile mindset.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verifies using applicable equipment/device, analyzes and provide disposition to issues encountered pertaining to process and procedures to ensure quality and reliability of product at Test.
• Involve in holding, assessment and disposition of non-conforming products/materials.
• Helps to provide data, gather facts that will help other support group to determine root cause that will help resolved problems encountered in line.
• Initiates, coordinates and implements both preventive and corrective actions that will correct and prevent line problem that comes from machine, process or/and human errors.
• Collaborates with the other Departments for the completion of Quality Reports. Coordinates and meet Production, Test Engineering and other support group on product quality improvement via team improvement/module group activities.
• Generates, formulates and reviews quality documents such as inspection specification, procedures, work instructions, Engineering Request Form (ERF), MRB forms and Special instructions.
• Verifies, issuances, monitors, reviews and tracks the completion of the following the Non-Conforming products. (Test CAR, MRB, 8D and MVI FA as applicable).
• Prepares periodic report such as: Quality Gate Reject, Subcon Score Card, MRB hold lots, CAR/8D, CAT’s, Trends and other applicable quality monitoring report
• Communicates issues, concerns and information to appropriate team either internal or external.
• Conducts training or refresher on defect criteria to AMPI operators and inspectors regarding inspection (visual/electrical) requirement as part of their certification to ensure high quality inspection. This includes Subcontractors if applicable.
• Coordinate with the Training System Core Group (TSCG) on any changes that needs to be implemented to ensure effectiveness of the certification process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College graduate preferably Engineering.
• At least 2 years of QA Engineering  and/or related industry

• Analyze software requirements and product specifications analysis in order to craft clear BDD test scenarios
• Automated tests development (Selenium, Playwright, SpecFlow, Gherkin, Cucumber)
• Test documentation ownership (Test Suites, Test Cases, Defect reports)
• API testing writing and execution
• SQL scripts writing and execution
• Test cases management and execution of daily test runs (ADO Pipelines, Jenkins)
• Test results analysis and reporting and participation in defects’ Root Cause Analysis
• Daily management of assigned projects in Azure DevOps and/or Jira
• Hands-on experience with version control system Git, Bitbucket
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum, adoption of Agile/Scrum principles and BDD process
• Participate in daily Scrum standup meetings and other sprint ceremonies
