As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst at Balsam, you'll lead our charge in upholding data privacy regulations and delving into requests. as well as staying updated on regulatory changes. What you'll be doing:

Data Privacy Requests

• Manages and coordinates the processing of each data subject request to ensure its resolution and closure within the required deadlines.
• Processes requests internally and externally by coordinating with the appropriate functional team process owners and vendors via email, Slack, or Zoom calls as necessary.
• Sends timely updates and responses to data subject rights requesters for any possible timeline extension of request processing.
• Maintains the data privacy request tracker, vendor list, and reports such as request volume status, closure rate, issues, and challenges.

Data Privacy Laws Monitoring and Field Research Assistance

• Assists in providing regular updates to the legal and regulatory team with the latest news with respect to the development and enforcement of the data privacy and security laws in the EU, US, AU, and other jurisdictions relevant to the company and its businesses.
• Assists in regularly monitoring the current practices in the industry, including but not limited to the use of cookies (e.g., banners and consent), tracking technologies, data subject request processing, etc

Technical Coordination Assistance

• Serves as the data privacy team’s technical coordinator to the technology, data insights, and operations teams.
• Conducts quality checks on the company’s systems and processes involved in data privacy request processing to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, in consultation with the relevant internal system owners (e.g., data retention in various database platforms after data anonymization/pseudonymization)
• Reviews and audits existing internal and vendor processes and technologies to help mitigate data privacy vulnerabilities and prevent potential future privacy risks.
• Assists in investigating data breaches and incidents and works closely with the Senior Compliance Manager in drafting internal and external data privacy breach/incident reports.

What we’re looking for:

• College graduate of any course.

Location: The Regulatory Compliance Analyst position is a work-from-home position for Balsam International Unlimited Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, and Tarlac areas only.

QA is an expert in conducting end-to-end monitoring and feedback, reinforcing positive agent behaviors that will result to customer satisfaction, and reforming those that result to negative customer experience.  QA shall be able to assess how transactions are handled, and identify the areas that need improvement.

QA shall ensure that all agent-customer interactions result to positive experience and are performed in accordance to pre-determined compliance guidelines, through, but not limited to:

·         Live or recorded monitoring of agent interactions (both voice and non-voice) ensuring compliance to pre-determined quality guidelines.

·         Meeting the required number of evaluations on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.

·         Provide accurate and impartial judgement on all transaction evaluations.

·         Regular coaching sessions with agents to reinforce good behavior and reform opportunities

·         Reporting of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly monitoring scores or any quality-related performance together with root-cause/data analysis and recommended action items.

·         Reporting of critical errors to Operations, Training, and HR, and monitor if the concerned party has completed the relevant corrective action procedures.  

·         Attending administrative hearings and deliberations resulting from the critical error callouts.

·         Facilitating QA rollouts and guidelines orientations for new-hires, and certifying agents prior to official endorsement to Operations.

·         Collaborating with Operations and Training in developing the technical and soft-skills of agents through coaching sessions, QA orientation, calibration sessions, rewards and recognition projects, etc.

·         Attending and facilitating calibration sessions, and sending relevant minutes and variance reports after each session.

·         Liaising with clients, and other internal groups as needed, on the creation/update of monitoring/compliance/knowledge-based tools and guidelines, etc.

·         Reporting agent and transaction compliance trends to the Quality Manager and/or QA Supervisor.

·         Identifying trends and opportunities for additional training or corrective action as needed and share feedback with immediate supervisor, Operations, and Training.

·         Taking proper action on disputes filed against transaction evaluations.

·         Participating in internal and external client meetings and performance reviews.

·         Participating in process improvement designs related to quality, technology (CRM/KRM), agent-customer interaction flows, etc.

·         Reviewing and submitting exceptional calls to be pooled for the good call library.

• Quality assurance analysts are responsible for testing, analyzing, and ensuring the quality of software, products, and systems.

Primary Purpose:

Work closely with project team members and the business to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and solution design

Work with IT and business and 3rd party stakeholders to implement quality and defect free changes into IT systems

Use their business, functional and system knowledge and testing industry experience and knowledge of OW standards to provide input into testing strategy. 

Develops test plans and scenarios to meet the testing strategy and scope.  Prepare for and executes all identified test cycles.  Document testing results, and record and track defects to successful resolution.  Communicate testing status.

Support business UAT testers in the completion of UAT on larger projects.  On smaller projects co-ordinate and lead UAT.  Work with functional and development teams to communicate and resolve defects.

Responsibilities include:

o   Develop, update and maintain testing standards and procedures

o   Provide testing estimates based on requirements

o   Prepare Test Case Scenarios and documentation

o   Prepare test data based on requirements/solution design

o   Support developers and functional analysts with unit testing

o   Execute test scripts for all phases of testing

o   Prepare and deliver solutions training activities to business users where required

o   Work with the business teams to ensure full User Acceptance testing is done prior to business sign-off for deployment.  

o   Keep track of any defects arising from the testing or post-go-live, prioritise defects with the business teams and work with technical teams to resolve

o   Input into test reporting on larger projects. On smaller projects prepare test reporting and communicate status to stakeholders

o   Work with the appropriate business and IT teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process

o   Participate in the release control process (when application changes are transferred from build to test) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements

o   Inform/escalate to appropriate team/s of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget or quality of build changes or the testing process

o   Participate in the deployment and production verification process (when application changes are deployed to production and go through production verification testing and hypercare support) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements

• At least 5 years I.T. experience

• Retail industry highly recommended
• At least 3-5 years testing experience mandatory
• Solid experience with Regression Testing
• Experience with relevant Enterprise Solutions (eg SAP, Salesforce Platform including sales processes, PIM, Gains, NetTikit)
• Experience with other system tools used in testing and documentation highly desirable (eg ALM, Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, ServiceNow, Excel)
• Experience working with 3rd party vendors and integrated environments
• Experience working cross functionally
• Experience working in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Understanding of DevOps
