About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester/Analyst to join our quality assurance team. As a QA Tester/Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications by conducting thorough testing and analysis. You will collaborate with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders to identify issues, track defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Define test scenarios and strategies for different types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, performance, security, usability).
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and define testing objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality standards.

Manual and Automated Testing

• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications, identifying bugs, issues, and inconsistencies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or others).
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively affect existing functionalities.
• Perform functional, integration, user acceptance, and system testing on new software releases.

Defect Identification and Reporting

• Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear and actionable feedback to developers.
• Reproduce issues and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of test results, issue logs, and steps taken to replicate problems.
• Verify bug fixes and perform follow-up testing to ensure successful resolution of issues.

Collaboration with Development Teams

• Work closely with developers to understand the technical architecture and design of applications.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with development goals and timelines.
• Provide feedback on product features and functionality, focusing on usability and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth handoff between testing, development, and deployment stages.

Test Environment Setup and Configuration

• Set up and maintain test environments for manual and automated testing.
• Ensure test data is prepared and structured for accurate testing outcomes.
• Monitor test environments for stability, identifying and resolving issues that could impact testing.

Continuous Improvement and Best Practices

• Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and methodologies.
• Suggest improvements to current testing processes, workflows, and tools.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for testing and quality assurance across the team.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testing-related aspects of code development.

Documentation and Reporting

• Document and report test results, including defect details, status reports, and final test reports.
• Create test coverage reports, ensuring all functional and non-functional requirements are addressed.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
• Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects.
• Experience with testing web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or others).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, performance testing).
• Proficiency in using automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Postman, or other test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools.
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
• Knowledge of database management and writing basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter is a plus.

• Experience with Agile frameworks and Scrum certification is a plus.

• Need strong programming background using either Java or Javascript/Typescript.
• With wide exposure to designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using standard automation tools and frameworks, preferably Playwright and Selenium
• Playwright: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Playwright is required (manual testing experience is acceptable for the rest)
• Selenium: At least 4 years of experience is necessary if the candidate does not have Playwright experience
• Expert with Software QA standards like creating test scenarios in BDD, triaging issues and bugs and how to properly raise them, organize and document important processes and workflows for the project and the team, and able to plan and execute different testing cycles like functional, end-to-end, integration, regression.
• CI/CD: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Has a good understanding of CICD implementation with respect to test automation, i.e. how to build, execute, and analyze automation server jobs and pipelines. Having experience setting up jobs and pipelines for the CICD implementation is a plus.
• API Testing: At least 2 years of experience is required. Needs to have background in executing and automating API tests, and helps with the setup of configurations (authentication of API calls, build requests, POC on exposed APIs that can be used) before testing.
• Needs significant exposure to agile software development, how to manage tasks within sprints and knows what to expect in dealing with the agile mindset.

QA Localisation testing involves performing language checks on a range of yet-to-be-released games for a variety of platforms including PC, Xbox One, PS4, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and various mobile and tablet devices.  You would be working on top gaming titles for some of the biggest publishers in the World.

As one of our Localisation QA Testers, you will be the very first person to see the localised game in its entirety – translated text, images, and the rest of the user interface all together. You’ll get to experience the project in the way it will be consumed by the end users.  You will work in a multilingual project team, ensuring that game is free from grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies and ultimately ensuring that the game is accurately localised into the target language.

Candidates with previous translation, proofreading, copywriting, or linguistic experience and those with a passion for languages, culture or gaming would also be interested in this position.

As one of our LQA Test Lead you will be leading our LQA team.  You will report directly to a site head, work with global project managers and are a vital point of contact on all LQA assigned insourced or outsourced projects. 

You will be the primary driver in successfully managing and delivering projects on time and be accountable for the to the end-to-end quality of projects.  You will have day-to-day responsibility for managing the project teams and will work on a variety of global projects for many of our high-profile clients, whilst working in collaboration with our other global Studios. 

What you’ll be doing

• Managing LQA Team across and assigned projects across many platforms (PC, Console, and Mobile) to achieve high quality results.
• Working directly with Project Managers on planning and ensuring optimal resource allocations across projects.
• Daily management of allocated project resources and continually scrutinising tester's day-to-day performance.
• Coordinating project management activities, resources, equipment into manageable daily team actions and setting timeframes and milestones.
• Daily review of project priorities, risks, and severities with the Project Manager.

This position reports to the VP, GSO Business Service Delivery. The QA manager is responsible for overseeing all QA activities, including both the strategic and operational aspects.

• Leadership: Lead the Quality Assurance team and provide strategic direction to the development teams, driving quality through automation.
  • Oversee their execution and provide the necessary training, resources, and guidance to perform rigorous testing procedures effectively. (e.g., designing and implementing regression, functional, and integration test scripts).
• Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement QA strategies.
  • Evaluate manual testing processes to identify defects, analyze test results, and evaluate improvements leading to automating those processes.
• Test Planning and Execution: Create and review test plans, ensuring adherence throughout the project.
  • Craft detailed QA plans, establishing testing protocols, and setting performance benchmarks that guarantee the reliability and consistency of outputs.

QA shall ensure that all agent-customer interactions result to positive experience and are performed in accordance to pre-determined compliance guidelines, through, but not limited to:

·         Live or recorded monitoring of agent interactions (both voice and non-voice) ensuring compliance to pre-determined quality guidelines.

·         Meeting the required number of evaluations on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis.

·         Provide accurate and impartial judgement on all transaction evaluations.

·         Regular coaching sessions with agents to reinforce good behavior and reform opportunities

·         Reporting of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly monitoring scores or any quality-related performance together with root-cause/data analysis and recommended action items.

·         Reporting of critical errors to Operations, Training, and HR, and monitor if the concerned party has completed the relevant corrective action procedures.  

·         Attending administrative hearings and deliberations resulting from the critical error callouts.

·         Facilitating QA rollouts and guidelines orientations for new-hires, and certifying agents prior to official endorsement to Operations.

·         Collaborating with Operations and Training in developing the technical and soft-skills of agents through coaching sessions, QA orientation, calibration sessions, rewards and recognition projects, etc.

·         Attending and facilitating calibration sessions, and sending relevant minutes and variance reports after each session.

·         Liaising with clients, and other internal groups as needed, on the creation/update of monitoring/compliance/knowledge-based tools and guidelines, etc.

·         Reporting agent and transaction compliance trends to the Quality Manager and/or QA Supervisor.

·         Identifying trends and opportunities for additional training or corrective action as needed and share feedback with immediate supervisor, Operations, and Training.

·         Taking proper action on disputes filed against transaction evaluations.

·         Participating in internal and external client meetings and performance reviews.

·         Participating in process improvement designs related to quality, technology (CRM/KRM), agent-customer interaction flows, etc.

·         Reviewing and submitting exceptional calls to be pooled for the good call library.
