Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support professional to join our team. The role primarily involves analyzing sales data, strategizing offers, and maintaining effective communication with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting sales initiatives. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing sales strategies and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Review historical customer sales data to identify buying patterns, price points, and items of interest.
- Strategize weekly offers based on daily inventory file analysis to ensure effective inventory management.
- Email customers categorized offers to keep them informed about available inventory.
- Follow up on offers with phone calls to enhance customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Coordinate with warehouses for pictures, samples, and cases per pallet for specific items as required.
- Deliver samples to buyers' offices to facilitate purchasing decisions.
- Conduct store visits to conduct competitive analysis and gather market feedback.
- Provide general sales and customer service support to team members as needed.
- Previous experience in sales support or a related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for store visits and customer meetings as required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is desirable but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software is preferred.
