A Business Support Manager is a senior-level professional who oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of business support activities to ensure the smooth operation of an organization's business processes. The primary responsibility of a Business Support Manager is to lead and manage a team of Business Support Analysts and other support staff to deliver high-quality support services to various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage budgets and financial resources, ensuring that expenses are controlled and allocated efficiently.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, team members, and external partners.
• Oversee the development and implementation of process improvements, working closely with business leaders and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement business plans, strategies, and goals to support the organization's overall objectives.
• Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, including regular reporting, progress updates, and issue resolution.
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure that quality standards are met, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure that business support activities align with organizational objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with business support activities, ensuring that the organization is protected from potential threats.

You'll play a key role in supporting our Corporate Client Services team, providing exceptional corporate secretarial administration services to your portfolio of clients.

You will be responsible for drafting resolutions; preparing minutes for general meetings, sending reminders on deadlines to hold Annual General Meetings, and keeping the statutory books in order.

Responsibilities

Responsible for generating and preparation of documents and forms required for the portfolio of clients
Ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day relationships with cluster and consistent delivery of client reporting/information accurately and on time
Ensuring that support is provided to your immediate supervisor to complete the required deliverables for the clients and be proactive in defining areas needing attention or support
Know the specifics of designated clients including understanding their structure and any agreements they have in place
Minimise risk to IQEQ by ensuring all procedures and checklists are followed

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and execute day to day administrative and legal formalities in accordance with the law
• Ensuring the continuing good standing of client companies by ensuring all company law and contractual requirements are complied with
• Build, develop and maintain partnerships with cluster contacts

Tasks 

• Review board minutes, prepare complex board packs, including agenda, related minutes, agreements and documentation.
• Train, coach and support the team as and where required
• Maintain and review board/filing trackers
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
• Ensure prompt follow-up and timely execution of client requests
• A point of contact for daily operations on complex clients
• Coordinate deliverables for junior team members, working closely together with (Assistant) Managers
• Assist with the audit process Attend board and shareholders meetings, preparing related minutes, IQ-EQ service agreements and documentation.
• Review board minutes of more junior team members
• Prepare and review RCS, RBO, EMIR and general documents
• Understand fee agreements and identify out-of-scope services
• Coordinate with 3rd parties and support/remote functions
• Review of bank account opening forms
