In this role, you will be the single point of contact for the Commercial and Finance teams, to liaise on Finance/Revenue related requests. You will be the go-to person from the Commercial side on all Finance related processes, platforms and documents who can advise on actions accordingly. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all key cut-off dates based on the Monthly Closing Calendar are strictly adhered to

• Update opportunities for Commercial teams and advise on opportunity set-up in Salesforce. 
• Commission opportunity in Salesforce to get the job number (i.e. include billing instructions, final contract details, evidence of agreement (EOA) and/or PO). Raise job number request for exception cases, if needed.
• Raise request and coordinate new SAP account creation and credit checks.
• Review and approve proforma invoices .
• Follow up with the Billing team on sending invoices to clients.
• Raise credit memo request for invoice revisions/ cancellations.
• Attend the local Billing and Cash Collection calls and coordinate action items with the Commercial team.
• Ensure project dates in SAP are updated. Raise SAP change requests as needed.
• Follow up with the Operations team on pending fieldwork start date confirmation.
• Follow up with the Commercial team on pending evidence of delivery (EOD).
• Other Finance/Revenue-related duties, as assigned

Responsibilities

• Responsible for an annual revenue target to be executed / developed through new business in the year.
• Work together with Business Development colleagues and independently identifying and addressing client’s business issue or project brief, proposing the right & relevant solution (i.e. type of consumer study, data collection approach, timeline and investment). This includes developing & presenting the proposed solution to clients.
• Take lead on client engagement and maintain a relationship with the client with the aim to become a trusted advisor, thus gaining more business opportunities.
• Maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge on research techniques and applications; eager to learn about value added analysis to properly answer client’s key objectives.
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to think about client’s business and take concrete steps towards building knowledge about a key industry vertical OR Solution.
• Manage a small team of researchers to coach and mentor both direct and indirect reports, developing & strengthening their competency skills.
• Execute and deliver the project (end-to-end, from questionnaire development to reporting/analysis & verbal presentation) at the most efficient way without impact on the quality of your delivery

We are looking at the person to be the lead for a Tech/Telco + some FMCG clients in the Philippines. The person would be responsible for understanding the client business and translating the same into insights and new revenue for NielsenIQ. Also, integrating insights from across studies (qual and quant) to deliver value to the clients.

Business Development:

• Identify areas of opportunity for growth from existing clients managed
• Develop plans to cross-sell and introduce new services to current clients
  • Foster relationships at different levels and functions of the client organization (as applicable) to identify opportunities for incremental product/solution sales
• If possible, provide continuous feedback on competitive activities within assigned clients.

Client Servicing:

• Implement plans that will contribute to maximum client satisfaction and ensure continuous profitable and business growth.
• Ensure client service standards are implemented and enhanced as client expectations continue to evolve and change
• Lead the client servicing team and work closely with operations to ensure our commitments are met.
• Liaise with teams outside Philippines (e.g. analytics, subject-matter experts, etc. to ensure the solutions are best adapted to meet client’s needs)
• Provide product solutions and benefits to client business issues/opportunities by developing strategic initiatives for each client
• Oversee the management and conduct of assigned research projects including preparation, approval, and delivery of proposals, reports, and presentations
• Ensure team members are trained/ coached to handle client requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the company policies on business conduct/ethics.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Financial & process related:

• Ensure attention to costing & pricing at a project level – keeping in view total client relationship & implication on the total business.
• Contracts are completed and approved according to company's policies and guidelines.

People Management:

• Utilize the NielsenIQ framework to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for your team.
• Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
• Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
• Contribute to development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow
• Provide support, recognition, and feedback to assist associates in achieving the performance expectations and standards
