Overview of the role

Design practice solutions to ensure engagements meet client needs, business requirements and future business growth objectives.

What you will be doing

• Defines, maintains and enhances practice offering to support business objectives, strategic development roadmap and client business needs.

• Designs, enhances and implements practice offering to support specific client requirements and address market opportunities.

• Consults with sales, account management and client on the appropriate practice offering to meet specific client requirements and strategic business needs.

• Consults with clients on the most strategic technology projects within a practice area.

• Serves as pre-sales support specialist as needed with sales and account management to create and close sales opportunities. May include developing proposals/statements of work, negotiating pricing, planning engagement projects and delivering prospect presentations.

• Collaborates with internal stakeholders, e.g., product management, development, sales, and senior management to define and support assigned practice area.

• Nurtures relationships, defines consulting engagements to support relationship needs and sells the initiative.

• Maintains quality client relationships with both internal and external clients to gain referrals for new clients and achieve excellent client satisfaction and client loyalty.

• Identifies business process improvements for increased efficiency and enhanced client experience.

• Ensures practice provides industry thought leadership.

• Mentors and develops resources to grow practice knowledge among services organization.

• Researches and resolves critical issues related to practice in a timely and professional manner.

• Provides technical and business domain expertise.

• Works directly with clients and may travel to client sites.

• Other related duties assigned as needed.

As a Corporate Legal Professional at Avaloq, you will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance and providing expert guidance on various legal matters. Your primary responsibility will be to support the legal department in handling corporate legal affairs, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and stakeholders to safeguard the company's interests while maintaining adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.

Your main responsibilities are within Corporate Governance:

• Planning and execution of all board of director meetings of the Avaloq group subsidiaries for EMEA and APAC region. This includes the audit compliance and risk committee meetings of the Avaloq Group Ltd, including strategic planning; creating agendas; inviting the appropriate attendees; reserving the meeting space and covering all possible logistical issues.
• Keeping of meeting and committee minutes. This includes the responsibility to implement all of the board's pronouncements.
• Being the point person and keeper for all corporate documents, which includes serving as a key consultant to the boards, the committee, to the executive management team but also various other departments. This also includes the maintaining of the group wide authorized signatories list and the organizational chart of the group companies.
