Responsibilities

• Maintaining and building an accurate, complete, up-to-date understanding of the market with insightful data and intelligence
• Accountable for analyses, charting, and performing quality checks for analytic reports
• Assisting in developing analytical solutions, consumer insight recommendations, and developing questionnaires aligned with client goals and needs

A Little Bit About You

You will play an essential role in managing research projects from start to finish, supporting the Manager on research design, analysis, reporting through to presenting findings to clients. We will arm you with the best in market research skills and capabilities, through on the job coaching and structured training. You will also be given access to our full range of data and analytics solutions. Whilst we love surveys, we also have plenty of other data to quench your curiosity and wow your clients.

This individual will be part of VCA’s geographic cluster of Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia (IPVMC) markets, and will be responsible for leading data science engagements with Visa's clients in the Philippines & Cambodia.

The role reports to Head of Data Science overseeing IPVMC cluster and will be based in Visa’s Manila office.

This role combines deep industry knowledge, senior relationship building skills and a solutions-based, consultative selling approach to deliver revenue and sales growth.

Key responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business leaders, internal stakeholders and client teams to understand business needs and identify strategic areas where data science can drive strong business impact, in alignment with organization's goals and priorities

• Act as the market linchpin between our country team and regional data science hub to elevate go-to-market approach for commercializing Visa data solutions

• Develop holistic data science program for driving innovation, accelerate new solution launches for Philippines clients and create data offerings in alignment with business strategy

• Executive presence including excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations

• Provide leadership and guidance to the data scientists and play a critical role in ensuring project success for Philippines/Cambodia client engagements

• Continuously explore and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to ensure that our organization and team remains at the forefront of machine learning and AI

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective utilization of resources and alignment with financial targets

• Lead a strong team, and by embodying the Visa Leadership Principles, provide continuous coaching and mentorship to achieve VCA objectives and key results, while also helping individuals grow and develop their careers in VCA and at Visa more broadly

The Research and Development Product Technologist conducts product application-specific tests and experiments

The Research and Development Product Technologist performs the following functions:

1. Performs analyses and statistical comparisons of results to contribute to product innovation.

2. In charge of gathering data, keeping accurate records, making sure records are filed correctly, and preparing the reports required.

3. Maintains records and submits monthly reports of all analyses and testing done.

4. Tests and evaluates products based on their intended applications in a timely manner, with accurate and verifiable results, and communicates these to R&D Supervisor for appropriate actions.

5. Standardizes the recipes to be used for product testing and customer requests.

6. Performs modification of the recipes according to product requirements.

7. Facilitates the preparation of the samples requested by TBMs, TSGs or customers.

8. Assists in bakery training and similar activities.

9. Conducts expanded applicability tests (e.g different formulations, new ingredients, etc) of developed products. 

10. Develops test procedures, forms, and other documents required for the establishment and maintenance of the R&D System.

11. Monitors the inventory of all consumables for application testing (ingredients, tools, others).

12. Files for liquidation and reimbursements in the system.

13. Maintains cleanliness (GMP) of R&D Bakeshop/ Application Lab.

The Senior Software Engineer develops, implements, and maintains software solutions that enable business operations to realize company goals & objectives. The incumbent performs analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications.  May be assigned to develop new applications/systems, enhance/upgrade existing systems or provide production support.  He/she works independently on moderately complex projects, receiving only general direction. May provide assistance and direction to less experienced peers.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications and translate them into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results.
• Coordinates with software architects and Software engineer IVs to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
• As part of Agile teams, completes software development work which includes application design, coding, code review and testing. Keeps Agile team and APM apprised of project status.
• Offers suggestions to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project and program objectives.
• Manages engineering risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues, and devising methods to mitigating them.
• Liaises with other project and program areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
• Supports business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues following production support process and SLA’s.
• Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and software engineering standards, practices and tools.
• Provides input to APM/DPM in creation of Product Roadmap, High Level Estimates
• Collaborates with IT management to define and develop documentation & engineering artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.

The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to document and plan test cases for regression, Integration, and automation test plans and test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts (i.e. Python, Java, Java script, C# etc.)
• Troubleshoots existing automation and optimizes the automation framework.
• Supports functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicates with development teams, other product teams, and management to ensure proper test coverage of existing and new features and functionality.
• Build upon an existing framework to develop & execute automated test plans against developed features. Identify and report defects, work with team to resolve.
• Continuous improvement of automation framework and workflow processes, keep solutions up to date with latest technologies.
• Lead scrum test teams by example - encourage collaboration, contribution, and commitment to the teams’ shared goals.
• Guide and mentor junior team members on latest trends in automation.

The Risk Operations Analyst I is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. Responsibilities:

• Activation and maintenance of locally approved credit obligors in the credit system
• Preparation of credit approvals (CA) document in the credit system based on the data provided by the RM and Risk for Annual Review, Interim, Extension and Initial following the established procedures, policies and checkpoints;
• Input and maintenance of approved credit facilities in the credit system (e.g. facility creation, allocations/re-allocations, facility amendment, cancellation, classification, special handling instructions, and updates using “As Of” functionality);
• Ensure that the credit approvals are obtained and in compliance to the credit policy.
• Review and rectification of data exceptions.; month-end adjustments on credit facilities via "as of" functionality. Monitoring, completion/filing of fully approved workflows;
• Monthly reporting of Expiring CAs and Expired CAs;
• Checking of approval for Classified Credit Review if in compliance to the credit policy.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
