What will you do?

• Negotiate purchase prices and budgets with clients, ensuring competitive pricing and close profit margins.
• Secure agreements for the sale and collection of waste, maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
• Arrange transportation for the collection of waste from clients to our recycling facilities.
• Ensure timely and efficient collection and delivery schedules.
• Set up and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track sales targets and account performance.
• Provide regular reports on account status and transaction volumes.

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or related roles, preferably in a startup environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial software Xero and Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets).

What will you do?

• You will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth trajectory.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Record all financial transactions promptly and accurately in the appropriate accounting software.
• Generate customer invoices and track accounts receivable, following up on overdue payments as necessary.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and any other applicable taxes.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and taxation.
