About the role:

Job Title: Sourcing Specialist for Events & Caravans

Working Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Flexible

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

Salary: up to PHP 35,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre-Event Planning and Research:
• Collaborate with recruiters and client success to understand hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles.
• Research companies, speakers, and attendees to identify potential candidates.
• Develop outreach strategies using social media and online communities.
• Prepare presentations and materials showcasing the company's culture and opportunities.
• Event Execution and Candidate Engagement:
• Network with attendees at events, career fairs, and conferences.
• Deliver engaging presentations about the company and career opportunities.
• Conduct one-on-one conversations to assess candidate qualifications and interest.
• Use questioning techniques to uncover hidden talent.
• Promote the company culture and career paths to generate excitement and applications.
• Post-Event Follow-Up and Reporting:
• Follow up with qualified candidates to maintain interest and advance them through the interview process.
• Track and report on sourcing activities and results.
• Analyze sourcing metrics and suggest improvements for future events.
• Provide feedback on event effectiveness to the Recruitment team.
• Ongoing Relationship Building:
• Build and maintain relationships with key contacts at universities, industry organizations, and event organizers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging talent pools by attending webinars and conferences.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar role.
• Proven experience with sourcing talent at industry events, career fairs, and conferences.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Workable

• Strong understanding of social media recruiting strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
• Enthusiastic and professional demeanor with a passion for building relationships.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Sourcing and Candidate Research:
• Utilize online recruiting tools and databases (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) to identify high-potential candidates.
• Conduct in-depth research on target candidates, including reviewing online profiles, social media presence, and professional achievements.
• Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active job seekers.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging talent pools by attending relevant webinars and conferences (virtually).
• Candidate Engagement and Outreach:
• Draft compelling and targeted outreach messages to initiate conversations with potential candidates.
• Build rapport with qualified candidates via phone, email, or video conferencing, highlighting the company culture and career opportunities.
• Manage the initial screening process to assess candidate qualifications and interest in the company.
• Building a Strong Talent Pipeline:
• Develop and maintain a robust database of qualified candidates aligned with the company's hiring needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific skill sets and experience required for open positions.
• Proactively source and pre-qualify candidates to expedite the interview process.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Track and report on sourcing activities and results, including a number of contacts made and qualified candidates identified.
• Analyze sourcing metrics and identify areas for improvement in sourcing strategies.
• Stay updated on recruiting trends and technologies to optimize sourcing effectiveness.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar role, with a strong understanding of online recruiting tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Workable
• Solid experience in creating online marketing campaigns using Meta and other social media platforms.
• Proven ability to identify and attract top talent in a virtual environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport remotely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling outreach messages.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
