Scope of Position

Manages distribution product for the branch. The distribution manager seeks new distribution services opportunities and cooperates with sales to turn new opportunities into profitable business.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and support with day-to-day quotations
• Support product with checking local charges and agreement quotes to ensure we minimize potential branch losses
• Plan and support with huddles and monthly meetings to discuss market intelligence and delegate workloads within the team.
• Attend the weekly branch Sales meeting and facilitate discussions on market updates and trends
• Take an active role in the transition of new business/ updates to existing business.
• Grow department Revenue in line with District budget target and management expectations.
• Supporting with BNP, AJAX, CLH, and internal financial reports to ensure that the department is showing clean financial accounting throughout all financial reports.
• Manage dept PnL
• Maintain a positive relationship with the Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and trainings.
• Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department. 
• Be involved and suggest system/process improvements.
• Review and conduct staff appraisals and one to one meeting timely in line with the 3+1 Initiative
• Assist supervisor and key staff with goal setting and monitoring development.
• Map and understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency to offer customers better cycle times and service as well as controlling costs.
• Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are documented and kept up to date in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database.

As a Supply Chain Process Optimization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for analyzing and improving various aspects of the supply chain processes to drive cost reduction, improve service levels, and increase overall operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices to implement innovative solutions.

• Analysis of Current Processes:
  • Evaluate and analyze existing supply chain processes to identify areas of inefficiency, bottlenecks, and potential improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to understand performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the supply chain.
• Identify Optimization Opportunities:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation within the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend the integration of new technologies, automation, and digital tools to optimize supply chain processes.
• Develop and Implement Optimization Strategies:
  • Design and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, including the use of technology, automation, and best practices.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Establish continuous improvement within the supply chain by implementing methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Salary Range:  USD 1000-2000 /month

Working Schedule : Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST | 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Manila Time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have 2 full time employees in the Philippines, and we are looking to expand that team.

Seeking a supply chain manager that is extremely well organized and excited to learn about all things Amazon FBA / Ecommerce.  Applicants should be a resourceful self-starter that’s excited to take ownership of the supply chain.  They will have experience with Amazon FBA, inventory management, and forecasting.

We’re looking for someone who is resourceful and can get things done with little supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for placing orders with manufacturers and ensuring that there is adequate stock across all sales channels.
• Coordinate import containers with manufacturers, Freight Forwarders and 3PL.
• Analytically review, track and report on all supply chain logistics processes, including purchasing, receiving, warehousing, inventory.
• Responsible for monitoring inventory levels, forecasting, and replenishment shipments into Amazon US, UK, CAD, Walmart, and our 3PL to keep products in stock.
• Troubleshooting issues within Amazon/Walmart including, lost inventory, product detail page updates, variation creations, ect.
• Responsible for updating the weekly/monthly forecasts.
• Work internally with creative/marketing teams to coordinate new product launches.

• 5+ years of operations experience working on demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain management.
• 2+ years of experience directly managing an Amazon 3P working with Seller Central.
• Extensive skill with Google Sheets or Excel - **THERE WILL BE A TEST**.
• You will be working directly with the USA based team, so USA - EST Hours 9-6PM are required.
• Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Remote Work - Quiet home office or equivalent with fast wifi is a must.

• Experience using Helium10 or Jungle Scout

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Develop and drive supply chain and procurement activities for the BU
• Secure availability of resources and materials, achieve the required performance targets in terms of cost and delivery time
• Synchronize the requirements of the customer with the flow of materials from suppliers in order to achieve a balance between, high delivery performances, low working capital, and low spend.
• Manage Continuous Improvement of supply-chain processes and structure (strategy, methods, tools, personnel development, etc.) and related key figures.
• Ensure compliance to QHSE regulations.
• Drive internationalization of procurement activities
• Manage and coordinate key suppliers, assess supplier quality, secure priorities, availability of products and materials
• Define pricing and contractual conditions, negotiate discounts, and define terms of payment with suppliers
• Set and control saving targets for the relevant categories and track Implementation of cost reduction projects, ensure standard spend and savings reporting
• Lead projects for Make or Buy and drive for decisions & implementation
• Identify and assess key strategic suppliers for modules and complete machines
• Be the direct interface for Global Procurement & Supply Chain

Your Profile / Qualifications

• University, master’s degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent educational level.
• Min 10 years relevant experience in managing Supply Chain and
  Production in multinational companies
• Profound know how of supply/demand planning, warehousing and logistics in multisite environments
• Management Experience ((at least 5 years)
• Proficiency in ERP-systems (SAP) and Business Intelligence reporting Financial acumen.
• Experience in supplier management
• Experience in leading and implementation of corporate Supply Chain networks
• Profound project and change management skills
