Job Objective
The Supply Chain Data Visualization Associate supports stakeholders from different Supply Chain functions (Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Master Data) with data and reports to gain increased visibility of end-to-end operations to reshape and enhance business insights, analysis and decision-making capabilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Cost Data Visualization and Dashboard: Responsible for organizing and bringing together data from across different applications and sources and analyzing Supply Chain data with an end goal of devising, creating and presenting real time visibility of reports and dashboards for Total Supply Chain Cost for Supply Chain Optimization that includes the optimal placement of inventory within the supply chain, minimizing operating costs (including manufacturing costs, transportation costs, and distribution costs).
- KPI Data Visualization and Dashboard: Support the implementation of key supply chain KPI's / reports and initiatives, by creating and maintaining a reporting platform containing KPIs for Supply Chain with appropriate data drill down to support root cause analysis and action planning.
- Data Collection and Validation: Generates regular and ad-hoc (requested by the business) reports of data from different systems used. Understands business systems as they affect data, reports and processes. Develops and maintains databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format. Validation of data sets to assure high quality of reports provided to the teams.
- SC Data Reporting: Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts, trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Responsible for using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets ( local, national, and global trends) that impact both the organization and the industry that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction. Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Line of Business counterparts & experts to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, devise data governance strategies, and seek approval prior to submission.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the data Visualization and Dashboard, reporting processes, and data collection methodologies. Recommend process improvements, automation, and data visualization techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of KPI governance and cost optimization.
