As a Sales Executive, you will:

• Develop and maintain extensive product knowledge to effectively present our offerings to potential clients
• Conduct market research, identify trends, and generate quality leads
• Proactively reach out to businesses, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
• Monitor market conditions and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
• Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to management

• Establishes and maintains rapport with clients, prior to, during and post-conference, exceeding their expectations and encouraging repeat business. 
• Ensures that function bookings, group resumes, contracts, event orders, etc are prepared and distributed accurately and efficiently to ensure operational success. 
• Drives function space optimization/maximization, to ensure the best utilization of space for guest experience and financial performance of the department.

• Assist the Executive Chef in the operation and administration, and has overall responsibility in the absence of the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, and managing all activities within the Food preparation areas.
• Participates in the strategic planning and ongoing development of the hotel, ensuring the delivery of our environment commitments, and overseeing the health, safety and security of our guests and colleagues.
• Demonstrates to guests and colleagues a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of Raffles and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Core Standards.

• Review purchase requisitions considering issues such as lead times, standardization, quantity discounts, and purchasing budgets
• Assist any Department in the hotel in formulating their material requirements and to use competitive bidding or other approved procedures to obtain the best price
• Ensure the timely preparation of purchase orders so that all approved purchase requests can be ordered and the goods delivered by the suppliers on the date need
• Keep track of all outstanding purchase orders to ensure that goods are delivered on time

• Assists the L&D Manager in the selection and training of department trainer
• Ensures that all training records are maintained, filed and updated in the HRM system
• Assists in the preparation of the annual training plan ensuring the objectives fully address the business objectives of the hotel and the training needs of the associates.
