Work Set-up - Hybrid (3x a week onsite)
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units of Arch Global Services (Philippines) Inc. The HRBP will be the main point of contact on all HR-related matters, including performance management, talent development, and employee relations. The HRBP will provide effective HR operational services and advice to business unit leaders, managers, and staff to support the delivery of organizational objectives and outcomes. The HRBP will be responsible for maintaining the employee records in the corporate HR system (Workday and PPH)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts regular meetings with respective Account Management and service Delivery Management leaders in assigned business units.
- Provide hands-on daily support to the day-to-day business activities of the HR team.
- Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance, recommend, and implementing changes as needed.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through coaching, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations that balance the employee needs and business needs while also ensuring confidentiality.
- Assist in the development of processes and procedures for implementation to support the growth of the organization while maintaining legal compliance and supporting business needs.
- Work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee and conduct new employee orientation, and other training, in HR-related areas.
- Provide routine and complex HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Preparing and receiving required paperwork and documentation for employee changes (transfers, promotions, etc.)
- Develops and prepares contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other documents reflecting employment changes.
- Leads in undertaking the onboarding process for new hires.
- In consultation with the General Counsel, maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring complete and timely regulatory compliance.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions), monitors and ensures that probationary reviews, annual performance, periodic, and performance improvement evaluations are timely undertaken and addressed.
- Directly responsible for employee data management, including entry and update of employee information in the company’s HR Information Systems – Workday and PPH – and ensuring that employee data are timely, accurately entered, and properly maintained.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce, and succession planning.
- In collaboration with the Learning and Development Team, identifies training needs for the employees under the designated business unit.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success; follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Leads the off-boarding process for voluntarily and involuntarily separated employees, ensuring that company and legal requirements and processes are followed and enforced.
- Thorough understanding of AGSI’s operational hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
