The Financial Analyst - CASH RECONCILIATION is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, recording, documentation, and dissemination of complex data sets. The candidate will process and
reconcile finance related transactions with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, customer service
and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will provide support during night
shift corresponding to US EST working hours and be part of the Finance team.

• Accurate and timely turnaround on all payables for various entities
• Utilize complex cost center and intercompany allocation methodologies
• Provide data analytics – e.g. payment volume report, duplicate and prohibited vendors
• Assist with journal entries on reclass and reprocess
• Vendor management - verify banking information for ACH and wire settlements
• Access vendor billing portals to generate electronic invoices
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers
• Assist with various projects that entail analysis and reconciliation
• Meet various deliverables for monthly and quarterly financial close
• Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to meet departmental goals

CASH RECONCILIATION

Junior Finance analyst is responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, analysis, scrubbing, documentation and dissemination of complex data sets.

It is key to be flexible as the tasks may change and be added to. It will be key to contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and it will be expected that the analyst will bring ideas to the Arch team by utilizing their expertise or previous experience.

• Process bureau settlement into IRIS and process cash allocation.
• Create front sheets and process cash allocation for non-bureau premium .
• Join special projects within Finance to be cross-functional
• Communicate directly with Underwriters and Brokers for complex accounts.

This role will join the global treasury practice, focusing on the establishment of insurance/reinsurance collateral management practices for group companies aimed at increasing the scalability and automation of collateral management and process improvement across the group.

Role will require the ability to support process change improvements that are compliant with group policies and controls. Position requires coordination with internal customers and stakeholders. 

Job Responsibilities

1. Support implementation, administer and monitor collateral management processes, including regular reporting, and administration.
2. State Deposit Processing and Monitoring.
3. Collate and report metrics to demonstrate progress toward group goals.
4. Coordinate documentation relating to third party contacts (trustees, banks, state departments, reinsurers.).
5. Maintain and organize records and company databases.
6. Provide support for collateral matters across functional teams and business units.
7. Support and monitor controls for collateral management, including management/updates to the SOX Narrative.
8. Identify and report issues relating to Insurance/reinsurance trust accounts.
