The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to document and plan test cases for regression, Integration, and automation test plans and test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts (i.e. Python, Java, Java script, C# etc.)
• Troubleshoots existing automation and optimizes the automation framework.
• Supports functional validation and sprint activities.

The Systems Engineer III architects solutions, acts as a subject matter expert and provides ownership of data protection solutions.  The incumbent operates independently on complex assignments and cultivates highly successful relationships with our business units, technical implementation teams, management and vendors.  The Systems Engineer III ensures that all data are protected and provides clear reporting and alerting to demonstrate the success and reliability of the enterprise backup platform.

Responsibilities:

• Be a part of the storage and compute team with the primary responsibility to design, build and maintain the global data protection platform.
• Protect a variety of workloads including:
  • On-prem Linux & Windows VMs VMware and AHV/Nutanix.
  • Multi-protocol NAS workloads.
  • SaaS, M365, AD, SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2.
  • Azure and AWS.
• Generation of reports, alerts and collaborate with server teams to remediate job failures and ensure backup compliance.
• Daily management of backup platform, jobs and remediate failed backup jobs.
• Architecting hybrid cloud solution as we migrate from on-premise data center to hybrid cloud (Azure, AWS and on-premise workloads).
• BCP/DR contingency planning, threat management.
• Manage DR replication and archiving jobs.
• ServiceNow integration for automated ticket generation and self-service.
• Manage Data Domain and VTL for BRMS/iSeries.
• Manage vendors for support escalations, contract administration, road mapping, etc.
• Leverage your compute and storage administration skills to assist other team members as needed.

Shift Assignment: Night Shift

The Software Engineer is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. The role includes working on Front-end and back-end systems. The main duties include understanding user requirements, translating them to Front/Back End code, developing database objects and APIs.

The candidate will provide analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications.

1. Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to accurately capture stakeholder requests and system specifications and translate them into engineering artifacts, which typically include design specifications, source code, test scripts and test results.
2. Coordinates with software architects and Software engineer IVs to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
3. As part of Agile teams, completes software development work which includes application design, coding, code review and testing. Keeps Agile team and APM apprised of project status.
4. Offers suggestions to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve project and program objectives.
5. Manages engineering risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues and devising methods to mitigating them.
6. Liaises with other project and program areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues.
7. Supports business units in the resolution of in-depth user questions and issues following production support process and SLA’s.
8. Maintains a working knowledge of new technology and software engineering standards, practices and tools.
9. Provides input to APM/DPM in creation of Product Roadmap, High Level Estimates

Collaborates with IT management to define and develop documentation & engineering artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.
