Shift: Night Shift

The BI developer will be responsible for the development, delivery, and maintenance of business intelligence applications and solutions. The position will include ongoing project-based development work, the delivery of scheduled reports, ad-hoc report development and enhancements, and day-to-day support of existing applications and reporting solutions.

The BI Developer works in all phases of reporting application development including design, installation, configuration, physical and logical database design, performance tuning, writing stored procedures and triggers, maintaining security, troubleshooting, providing advanced support. The BI Developer will support multiple application environments.

Qualified candidates must be highly knowledgeable of design and administration best-practices. Extensive hands-on experience is required. We are looking for a person who can solve problems and work independently. The ability to translate user requirements into a design which facilitates user access/reporting is also critical.

• Perform analysis, design, development, and testing activities in support of enterprise reporting, Business Intelligence, and data analytics solutions across a wide range of business and operational functional areas
• Assist with the design, development, and deployment of next generation data warehouse and tools to support long term information delivery and data visualization needs.
• Build and administer Microsoft PowerBI pre-production environments,
• Own the development and ongoing maintenance/enhancements of business reporting systems
• Design, develop, test and implement scheduled report deliveries, utilizing automated delivery capabilities.
• Design, develop, test and implement scheduled data integration (ETL) deliveries.
• Write complex SQL queries to implement performant data integration and reporting solutions
• Focus on information/data quality by continuously evaluating data standards and data profiling
• Collaborate with Business Systems Analyst and Quality Assurance engineers to build compliant and quality solutions

Shift: Mid Shift

The Data Engineer III develops, implements, and maintains data & software solutions that enable business operations to realize company goals and objectives. The incumbent performs complete end to end SDLC including analysis (data analysis), design, coding, debugging, testing, and support of software applications. They will be assigned to develop new data integration and transformation, software applications/systems, enhance/upgrade existing systems or provide production support. They work independently on projects of increased scope and complexity.

• Design and implement ETL processes for data transformation and preparation
• Deploy machine learning models to production environments
• Manage data pipelines for analytics and operational use
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources and systems
• Work in an Agile software development team to deliver new data ETL solutions, software and to maintain and support past and future solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Quality Assurance Analyst (QA) and other Developers to clarify and refine requirements/user stories
• Translate user stories into engineering artefacts and complete software development work, which includes application design, coding, code review and testing
• Keep team and APM apprised of progress
• Works with data & software development peers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with Enterprise Architecture principles and software development best practices.
• Work on performance tuning, code optimisation, refactoring, automation and DevOps (CI/CD) implementation

Data Engineer will work closely with the rest of the product team and business peers to effectively execute Data project initiatives. This person should be able to deliver in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Along with development, candidate will be responsible for maintenance of the data applications and would be expected to automate the processes with no or minimal human intervention. 

The QA Engineer executes manual and automated testing by writing scripts and creating automation scenarios for repeated execution. Using different automation tools, the QA Engineer will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

• Works with the Agile Program Manager (APM), Digital Product Manager (DPM), and Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to document and plan test cases for regression, Integration, and automation test plans and test cases.
• Writes test automation scripts (i.e. Python, Java, Java script, C# etc.)
• Troubleshoots existing automation and optimizes the automation framework.
• Supports functional validation and sprint activities.
• Communicates with development teams, other product teams, and management to ensure proper test coverage of existing and new features and functionality.
• Build upon an existing framework to develop & execute automated test plans against developed features. Identify and report defects, work with team to resolve.
• Continuous improvement of automation framework and workflow processes, keep solutions up to date with latest technologies.
• Lead scrum test teams by example - encourage collaboration, contribution, and commitment to the teams’ shared goals.
• Guide and mentor junior team members on latest trends in automation.

The ideal candidate has experience in Azure and AWS cloud environments, a strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, and a strong passion for automation.

This role is crucial in accelerating time to market, optimizing cloud adoption, and supporting the IT group’s goals of security, automation, and continuous improvement.

Description:

• Drives Cloud Deployments: Drive and manage cloud deployments in Azure and AWS, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation.
• Builds and Operates Cloud-Native Systems: Works closely with engineering, architecture, and development teams to integrate software and systems engineering, building scalable, fault-tolerant, cloud-native systems delivered through DevOps.

Contributes to global IaC and engineering efforts across Arch by coordinating with Automation team to build/test/UAT automation to reduce waste, eliminate manual/repetitive tasks, prevent problem recurrence.
• Fosters a Cloud-Native Culture: Advocates for cloud-native practices by evaluating, recommending, and engineering cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, maintaining a catalog of guidance and standards. Prioritizes cost and performance optimization in alignment with organizational goals.
